Nova Lox sandwich on «Everything» is always fresh; Get the combo w/pickle and chips or fruit. Overall decent sandwiches, smoothies & lattes. No complaints & free wi-fi. Also, I have accidentally left my bag here(with my ‘life’ in it) and hours after I made the discovery, then realized where and when I made the error, they had it stored in back, fully intact waiting for me to call or show up and I was relieved. That deserves honorable mention.

The good: food and coffee is tasty. The bad: Cleanliness — All the tables were dirty. No employees cleaned a single table for the 30 minutes I was in there. Service — Horrible. I wasn’t given a cup for the coffee I ordered, so I helped myself to the stack behind the register(there wasn’t anyone at the register to help me.) It was not a busy day, and there were at most 5 other customers, but it took 20 minutes to receive the sandwich I ordered. After waiting 15 minutes, I was told they didn’t have the bagel I asked for, so that means it took 15 minutes to even begin making my order. My girlfriend’s order of 1 toasted bagel took 15 minutes, and was cold. I saw it sit for 5 minutes after it was toasted. When I complained about the speed of my order, the employee stared at me and then shrugged. Another customer received the wrong order while we were in there as well. Terrible, terrible, terrible.

I’ve been here a couple of times now, but if my order is anything other than just a basic bagel, it’s either wrong or missing something. I’ve talked to management before, they’ve invited me back… but for some reason this staff just can’t seem to get it together. I always have to check my order before I leave because something is always messed up! I want to like this place, I really do… but service needs work.

I came in looking for something light and quick to eat. I decided on the ham and cheese on a toasted potato roll. I had the option of sides and I chose the fruit cup. In the past, I’ve been a fan of their bagels, but I’m watching my carb intake, so I didn’t purchase any. The cashier was pretty friendly, but the staff was doing a lot of personal conversations behind the counter. I noticed a huge garbage bag in a trash can overflowing in the kitchen area. A woman, who seemed to be the supervisor, made a worker remove the trash can from sight. The wait for my food was pretty quick, so I grabbed my bag and went home. The sandwich would’ve been so much better if the bread wasn’t so darn hard! It was difficult to eat. It was thick and extra chewy. I opened my fruit cup and clearly the strawberries in this mix were old and had mold on them. Everyone knows that fresh fruit doesn’t last long, especially strawberries. I have no clue why the fruit wasn’t checked before they even sold it. Major disappointment and a waste of my money. If I lived closer, I would’ve taken it back and complained. Instead, I just tossed it and made a mental note never to come to this location ever again.

We waited a while after it opened and usually go to bagels and for our bagels. So we gave it a shot. Wow what a huge disappointment. The place was a mess, our table was dirty and I had to wipe it down. The floor had food and trash on it. The people behind the counter were not friendly or courteous and not helpful at all. They made a simple bagel order extremely difficult and the woman taking our order got my wife’s and my order wrong. My wife’s sandwich was supposed to have bacon but did not. She went to the counter but was ignored by the staff. When she got someone’s attention they claimed they didn’t know it came with bacon despite being clearly obvious on their menu. Her bagel was ok but the meat was sparse for a $ 7.99 charge. I ordered my bagel with cream cheese on the side with Lox. Like I said the smear was all over my bagel and the Lox had no taste. The chicken noodle soup tasted like hot water with vegetables. EB bagels at this location is zero stars and should be avoided at all costs.

The 3 stars are for excellent coffee and consistent food. Everything else sucked and gets no stars. My first review: Food is consistently good. Coffee is excellent. Customer service is ‘Meh and always slow. My 2nd visit: Coffee is excellent. I received a order that was SIMILARTO what I ordered but definitely not what I ordered; I almost was going to eat it anyway but went up to address it. I was told«it’d just take a minute» to make the right order, so I told them ‘thanks, sure!‘ I was then refunded for what they served me but then CHARGED for the fixed/correct order, which shocked me! It’s been 15 minutes and I have yet to receive the fixed order. I was told that they didn’t actually MAKE my correct order because they weren’t old sure if I wanted it… and they are now out of the kind of bagels I had come in to order! They’re teetering on the edge of losing my business completely! I told them so and walked out

Customer service today(5÷1÷2015) was abysmal. Two people were cleaning and did not speak and barely acknowledged us. Then after the cashier decided to stop sweeping long enough to take our order, she took her good ol’ time scooping my chili.

This place is in a good spot(between West Street and Whole Foods). It has its own parking lot, but is also a convenient walk from a lot of places(like the Firestone across the street… don’t get run over crossing West). Inside it’s very big, with a whole lot of space AND seating. High ceilings and a variety of tables/booths make it pretty great for any group. They have wifi and bottomless coffee(multiple types) so it’s an all around great place to go. The food is consistent and tasty, and the service I saw was fine(a couple of people weren’t watching the counter, just restocking bagels. That may have bothered me, but the manager(i think?) said something to them and was really helpful when she helped me). So if there are problems, at least they’re watching out. They brought my order to the table, which was a nice touch that didn’t leave me lingering around the counter. My biggest complaint is this: it’s loud in here. I had hoped to get some work done while I waited on my vehicle… and it was difficult. The music in this place is REALLY loud… maybe not if you;re just sitting with friends eating, but I couldn’t complete a conference call without multiple comments about it sounding like I was at a concert. Even with headphones in, it’s loud. They also have a semi-open ceiling, so AC noise kind of bleeds down. While this wouldnt stop me from dropping in with friends, I doubt I could come back here to work again. Power outlets are available, but only at a high top table and select other tables. So if you want a booth to work from, you may be out of luck. To the management: turn down your music and you’re half way to capturing more customers. Add some power outlets and be friendly to the work from home crowd. With those changes I’d probably go 4 stars. Without them I still feel like I got what I paid for.

The bagels are delicious! The reason I gave only one star is because the service was so awful. The assistant manager was just looking at me while I waited with my kids for more then 3 minutes for someone to help us(there were no more customers waiting and the place was not busy). She was also rude and disrespectful when I ordered. I bought the bagels and went to STARBUCKS for my coffee. Definitely I’m not going back there.
