I always loved firehouse subs, so when I heard one was coming to Annapolis I was excited. This location is friendly but the subs just aren’t as good as I remembered. They are soggy and damp, probably from too much sauce. I’m not sure of the issue. It’s disappointing because I would be a returning customer if the subs weren’t so soggy and wet. Also minor annoyance: they ask you if you want a pickle. And I always say no thank you, but inevitably they still give you one.

Second time here and I got the soggiest sub both times. I even said very light on the condiments. Go to subway for a cheaper sub that tastes better.

Third time here and won’t be going back. Terrible customer service and they don’t know anything. Very heavy on sauces and the subs are cut from the bottom so everything falls out. Capriottis is 100000% better.

I’ll start off by saying my sub was very tasty. I got a medium smokehouse brisket. I’m giving a low grade because, let’s be honest, I don’t think this is a good value. Don’t look at the picture in the restaurant because the meat does not pile up on the bread like that. On mine, the thin-sliced meat barely covered the surface of the roll. It looked like barely 2 ounces of meat. Plus the combo gets you a bag of chips and soft drink from the evil Coke freestyle machine. That is $ 10.80NOT well-spent.

This is the first time I have tried Firehouse Subs and I was not disappointed. I had an Italian and a Hook & Ladder they were both good. I especially enjoyed the bread. I think the staff is new and needs a little leadership but other than that it was good.

Husband took me there for lunch today, first time. My hook & ladder sub was fantastic. He and my daughter were raving about the subs so I had to try it.

Tried this place for the first time today. My sub(Turkey & Cranberry) was really good. I like that they have an Under 500 Calorie Menu plus the calorie counts on the regular menu too. My son loved getting a fire hat with his Grilled Cheese, and of course loved the drink machine with so many options. Cons? They forgot part of my son’s meal in the to-go bag, so good thing I double checked our order before leaving! And the wait took longer than I expected. However this place is new, and it was Sunday before football started. I definitely want to try a different kind of sub or two, so I’ll be back.

My mom insisted on bringing me one of their subs home, so I ordered the«club on a sub» without mayo or mustard. The sub was just ok, kind of light on the ingredients(including the meat) and the sweetness of the ham kind of took away from the turkey and bacon flavors. I usually like honey ham but theirs seems sweeter than normal for some reason. All in all, it’s not a bad place but it’s not that great. Potbelly has better warm subs and Jimmy John’s is better for cold subs. But if you’re in the shopping center, it may be a better choice than Subway.
