For Eyes Optical

I had a bad experience last year somewhere else and was very nervous about trying another place. I wanted a correct eye exam this time as well as a new pair of glasses. I am absolutely pleased with my choice to go here– they have great hours and very friendly staff. The doctor was wonderful– very friendly and he knew what he was talking about. Bill helped me decide on frames for me and he was a great help. I will continue going here in the future.

Shannon was very help and knowledgeable of the products and very help with finding frames.

This was my first time visiting For Eyes in Annapolis and I’m not sure if I will return. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment since I figured I would have to fill out some paperwork as a new patient. There was a gentleman helping another customer with glasses and he greeted me as I walked in, which was nice. Other than that one customer, I was the only other person there at the time. The woman behind the desk, however, was not as friendly. I probably only took two steps in the door before she says from across the room, «How can I help you?» without even looking up to greet me. I filled out my paperwork and went back to see the doctor. He was nice enough, not very personable though.
After my exam I went back up front to order my contacts and take care of my co-​pay and was helped by another gentleman, who was friendly. Before I left I had to sign a paper and was accidentally given another patients form (they were all printed off together, easy mistake). When I mentioned it, the gentleman apologized and gave me my form. The woman (who had since returned from running an errand from what I gathered) made a comment that didn’t sit well with me. When I had the wrong form I had jokingly said, «Well I’m not him, but I can sign for him if you want,» to which she responded, «Haha does he have more money [than me].» I have Medical Assistance, so I’m not sure if she made the comment not thinking of that or if she was just being rude. From what I observed of her behavior during my visit, I’m inclined to believe the latter.
Overall, it was an OK experience. But if you’re looking for an eye doctor with personable, cheerful staff I’d suggest you look elsewhere.

I love For Eyes Optical in Annapolis! Dr. Sober is amazing! He is extremely friendly during the exam and very quick! I’ve been going to For Eyes in Annapolis for over 10 years now and he has done every exam I have had! Simply amazing!
The support staff are very nice and friendly as well! They gentleman Wetzler was amazing! I have had the pleasure of him helping me a couple of times and he is very friendly and always helpful when it comes to choosing frames! Joanne is nice as well! Always very honest about their opinions when it comes to choosing frames!
This location is the only location I will go to at this point! They are very good here and always helpful!
