Dr. Handelsman has been my dentist for twenty-​five years. I have always been extremely pleased with his judgment, recommendations, and medical care for my dental health. He is everything I believe one should seek in a health care professional — competent, compassionate, and communicative. The front office, dental assistants, and dental hygienists have always been professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and successful in making my visits an enjoyable experience. It is easy to make an appointment and the front office is exceptional at accommodating my schedule. The convenient downtown Annapolis location has its own dedicated parking, which is a major plus in the historic district. If you are looking for a new dentist or interested in changing dentists, do not hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Handelsman. You will not be disappointed.

My dad was a dentist so when he retired I went on a search to find a great dentist in our area. Dr. Handelsman is painless, knowledgeable, thorough, and hilarious. He has a great sense of humor. I recommend him highly!

We’ve been patients of Dr. Handelsman’s for years. Our daughter Sydney had just arrived for Spring Break and had a dental emergency. Their office accommodated our schedule and was very efficient in dealing the problem at hand. They handled the filing of our insurance, and were great with explaining everything. We were quite pleased and we will continue to let them care for our dental health… even though their office is out of network for our insurance. Thanks Dr. Handelsman.

DO NOT GO HERE.
This is the worst, least professional establishment I have ever experienced. Literally every stage of my process was messed up. They booked my appointments incorrectly, billed my insurance incorrectly, and even chose the wrong procedure for me, which resulted in a half-​finished root canal, giving up, stuffing me with cotton and sending me down the street on painkillers to a real surgeon, who ended up having to pull two of my teeth.
I’m not even kidding.
And after that nightmare of a procedure, they submitted my claims to insurance wrong, time after time, causing headaches for months on end, and were rude/​unresponsive/​horrible to me over the phone while I did my best to figure out this whole mess.
Seriously, don’t ever go here for anything.
