Dr Waddell is the best. I am a retired Navy Officer and Naval Academy Grad so having a dentist in Annapolis is great. The office is Military friendly and accepts TRI-CARE. My first dentist upon retirement in 2012 was a local Crofton dentist that my wife goes to. They were not flexible and very limited in service. When I needed a root canal(oh by the way I did not) they referred me out and so i was left on my own to get dental service, what??? So my co-worker and friend recommended his dental practice and told me that they were very good. So I made an appointment and DR Waddell was assigned as my dentist. He told me that while I needed a crown he said I did not need a root canal saving me hundreds of $$$. Since then I have had a few dental emergencies and they see me right away and always alleviate the problem with NO pain. In one case I came in in pain on a late Friday afternoon and Dr. Waddell said i needed a root canal. I assumed i would have to come back but no, he knew I was in pain and did it right then. That is FULLSERVICE!!! In another case I cracked a tooth while on travel and while in the airport(in Maine) on a Friday afternoon I was experiencing pain. I called for a referral in case i got worse over the weekend. They told me I did not need one because Dr Waddell would come in over the weekend if I needed him and they gave me his personal cell. I ended up being able to wait until Monday but even then they cleared the schedule and took me. Who does that??? I will always be a loyal patient of Dr Waddell.

Dr. Waddell botched my root canal, admitted to leaving nerves in my tooth. Placed a permanent crown on. When I had extreme pain a month later, insisted it was not that tooth. Opened the tooth back up and found TWO additional nerves that he missed. He may have missed them when he threw a temper tantrum and walked off during the procedure because his dental assistant did not have the correct«Caps.» He was gone a full 20 minutes and came back still upset. He then CHARGEDMEFORTHECROWN after he had to drill through it to remove the nerves HELEFTINTHEREBYMISTAKE. Feel free to PM me, i’ll tell you all about it.

Visited Dr Waddell last fall as he is nearby, in my dental plan, and recommended by a fellow Unilocaler. I’m a fan! I had ongoing pain from a deep filling done early last year and went to Dr Waddell to discuss that, have my teeth cleaned, and to discuss getting a biteguard. The office was easy to find, I was taken to my appointment room promptly, and there was no wait at all. Dr Waddell’s hygienist(her name escapes me as it’s been a long time. Michelle, maybe?) was a delight as was Dr Waddell himself. They cleaned my teeth, took a few x-rays, discussed the pain in my tooth and how to proceed, and he took impressions for the biteguard then and there. The receptionist even told me how much I’d need to pay out of pocket before the work was done which was a big help. I liked Dr Waddell and his staff very much and was pleased to have gotten so much of his time and to have had a pain-free appointment. I don’t like going to the dentist, but so far I’m pleased with my visits to Dr Waddell. Now my husband went there about a month ago and was very displeased, however I blame some of that on him. He was 10 minutes late as he hit traffic coming from Ft Meade, and says that the receptionist was short and rude to him so he walked out and will not go back. I’m a bit surprised that I have not gotten a card or call to schedule my next appointment with them as it’s been almost a year but maybe this office does not do that so I’ll need to schedule something myself.
