Menu was clearly marked as to what each dish was, order came put quickly and hot. It so delicious and I think the right amount on the portions. You won’t be sorry, give it a try.

This is a scaled down version almost quick serve but the food is great and the service is fast. Love the fresh baked bread

I ordered the 3 Messa Plate(humus, grape leaves, and falafel) and my husband the Lamb Kabob. Both of us left saying«eh… Not sure what we think». Nothing tasted bad, but it couldn’t be qualified as good either. The only thing that was amazing was the falafel and the bread. The grape leaves tasted as though they had been frozen and thawed and the lamb was a bit chewy. For the price I expected more.

This is my first time trying Lebanese style food. It was waste of my time and money. Meals are overpriced, and portions are very small. Taste was mediocre. I bought a bottle of Ayran yogurt. It tasted like it was rotten. I almost had to run to the restroom to puke. I DONOTRECOMMENDTHISPLACE.

I love Lebanese Taverna! Food is great, prices aren’t too bad, and service is quick and friendly. I am docking a star because their tea consistently has the bad taste of a tea spigot that is not properly cleaned.

This is, by far, my favorite place to eat. Love, love love it and wish there was one closer. I will gladly drive to Annapolis just to eat here. Everything is phenomenal, you can’t go wrong. The tabouleh is fantastic and the shakshouky is amazing as well. Can’t wait til the next time.

Love love love Lebanese Taverna. I have been to several of their locations and all are excellent. The one in Annapolis is very casual. You order at the counter. Food is super fresh and very authentic. It’s located in the Harbor Plaza which is a great afternoon spot for lunch and shopping.

Must try! First visit, and we loved it. Recommended by a friend who frequented their original location in DC. Sandwiches(chicken shawarma and garlic chicken) were in fresh pita bread, and the meat was not dry like it can be sometimes. A la carte $ 8 or with salad and side for $ 10. Small salad was tasty, and we tried the sides of oven potatoes and hummus, both notably delicious. Hummus came with extra fresh pita as well. Iced tea fresh brewed. Order at counter, food delivered to table and bussed. Very good value. Look forward to returning to try the roasted half chicken and sampling the various dips.

It is very difficult to find authentic labneh(jocoque) anywhere but in the hmart and here. Pair this delicious white spread with some kibbeh and pita bread and you will taste a heavenly combination. You can also have the chicken shawarma which to my taste is pretty good and the platter is nicely sized. As a recommendation ask to have the shawarma separated from the pita bread to avoid soggy pita. The is not the cheapest place on earth but it beats the prices from The Lebanese taverna in downtown and if you use your frequent dinner card as you should you can save some bucks in the end. Try it, don’t expect small plates so be ready to share with your loved one. The place is quite small but it is always clean:) Short story Great– authentic food specially labneh and kibbeh. Chicken shawarma too.

I am a HUGE fan of Lebanese Taverna’s DC(Connecticut Ave) location and when in DC I ALWAYS make an attempt to dine there at least once. I was thrilled to see this restaurant close to my hotel in Annapolis however I’m sorry to say my meal was quite the disappointment. The shawarma arrived lukewarm and the hummus and tabouli were so salty as to be almost inedible. I’m astounded these two places are related in any way.

This is NOT what it once was… I saw not ONE original person there from when I went a long time ago. It seems as if someone took over the restaurant, and they do NOT know how to make Lebanese food properly. Instant indigestion from the falafel, it was not light, more on the overcooked dry side. I couldn’t even finish it. I asked for an extra sauce and the cashier looked at me as if I were a hydra… then reluctantly gave me some. For those prices, and a paying customer, she should have obliged with a smile, or at least a pleasant look on her face! I do not usually write negative reviews, but I cannot, in good conscience, let anyone else waste their money and time here. Food was on the dry side, and flavorless… NOT very authentic anymore as far as flavor. I make better Lebanese food! I feel that if you say you make authentic cuisine, then it should be an extension of the healthy, bright and full flavor you are used to at home. Not the case here, I will NOT be back. Very disappointed.

Super gross. Cold, old aged things & a brown salad. I’d rather eat from a dumpster. We got a variety of things & each item was extremely disappointing. How is this place still in business? I’ve never experienced anything like this before. Putrid. The soda was okay, so one star for that

I had such high hopes for this place! I ordered the chicken shawarma with a side of rice. Once I started eating it, I realized it was so dry and flavorless. Traditional shawarma is suppose to be made with thigh meat but they make theirs with chicken breasts. Also the shawarma has chicken, lettuce and garlic sauce; no pickle(no biggie, but I’m use to shawarma having pickles. Perhaps only Michigan does the pickle) Also the rice tasted like minute made rice, it was so bland and flavorless. In all, my meal was pretty bad, however they did give you decent portions for the price.

We have been going to this location for many years and we were so disappointed to find out that they changed their menus. They remove food items we were so used to getting. I hope this change is for the better. I hate to see this local eats degrades instead of improves.

First time at Lebanese Taverna… restaurant was well lit, clean and cool on a 90+ degree day. Staff was friendly and informative to my companion and me who were both first time Lebanese food diners. Food arrived quickly and looked fantastic. We had a chicken shawarma, a beef and lamb shawarma and grape leaves. Both shawarmas were packed full to overflowing and were delicious. Make sure you try the garlic sauce! Will definitely be back…

Always delicious and get my Mediterranean fix in from here since my garbanzos closed in both crofton and annapolis. Usually I get a platter but today we decided to get the feast for two people and it was more than enough food. Perfect for the vegetarian To share w a non as the majority of the items were veggie except a couple pastry items. Lots of fresh veggie based mezze, I’m attaching the pic.

We ordered the Traditional with two plates of falafel and father spinach. The portion of the traditional was so big but everything tastes very good. I cannot complain

We went on a busy Saturday night. There was a line for ordering, quite a few people waiting to pick up food, and very little seating space left, but we decided to stick it out. I got the Traditional platter, switching out a kibbeh for an extra dolma to make my meal vegetarian. The dolma were great, the hummus and baba ghanoush were also quite good. The only thing that was unimpressive was the falafel, which was well cooked but not super flavorful. The other dishes more than made up for it though! My husband got the mouzat(lamb shank). He said it was surprisingly great, the sauce was well seasoned and he said he tasted cloves. The rice was plain but went well with the dish, and his lamb was perfectly cooked and tender. We also got an extra side of hummus and it was SOGOOD. Heavy on the tahini, just how I like it. They have unlimited pita bread, which they ran out of for a little while, but that meant it was hot and fresh when it was available! Tables were bussed very quickly to help with the crowds.
