Lemon Grass Restaurant

Since there isn’t yet a Unilocal location for the New Lemongrass on Route 2 in Arnold, Maryland I place this review here.
I was here last night and ordered chicken PAD Thai. Just before closing over the phone… (A To Go Order) Not knowing their menu I figured it was safe. It was great. When I got here I added steamed dumplings. Service was fast and excellent.
Tonight I attempted to called in my order… After waiting about 4 minutes only to be told they weren’t taking to go orders. They were too busy during the rush.
The true reason became apparent when I arrived. An incompetent maitre’d.
Last night’s efficient hostess had been replaced be a no experience surfer dude.
Really… Tell the truth when someone calls.
Either management takes to go orders over the phone or it doesn’t.
Here’s the topper… I added a side of peanut sauce and gave «The maitre’d» a five dollar bill to pay for it.
The «Dude» abided by not returning me any change.
Oh and beware. A small side of peanut sauce is $ 2.00. But it is delicious.
HEY LEMONGRASS… Get this new location some help. The locals (i am one) are swamping the place.
Oh… Here’s something else telling. Somehow my wonton soup became a salad I didn’t ask for.
