Literally such a mess working with them. I called weeks ago to set up an appointment for today. Received email confirmations and also spoke with people in the office multiple times to confirm. I received a «confirmation» call on Friday essentially telling me that I was on the schedule but they weren’t sure if they would get to me today because of the holiday weekend… and went on to explain that their employees tend to call out after holiday weekends. But they assured me they would call me this morning by 7:45 to let me know, since I made it very clear that I took a day off of work for the cleaning and did not want to waste a vacation day for a no-show. So this morning rolls around – I don’t hear from them. I called a couple of times and by 8:30 someone finally answers. Mind you, I have to be at work by 8. The person tells me that«not everyone has gotten to work yet» so he can’t tell me if they will get to me today. To which I asked why they put me on the schedule and confirmed my appointment weeks ago if they were understaffed. He told me that many maids quit in the past week so they were short-staffed(red flag!). So after about 5 minutes he tells me that they will call to let me know *if* someone can make it to my house – and this is at 8:30 and my time slot was between 9 and 1, so clearly I was not feeling confident at that point. I explained that that is no longer acceptable as I need to get to work if they cannot ensure that I will get service. I asked if someone could come tomorrow, and was told no one can come until next week. At that point, I just said forget it. I completely understand that it’s the day after a holiday weekend and companies are busy. I really do, But having to call myself to ask if the maids were going to show and being told they still don’t know a half hour before my time window is really unprofessional. I am frustrated because they had NO problem taking my credit card info weeks ago in case I didn’t show, yet they screwed me out of my confirmed appointment with no repercussions. I get that problems happen, but a customer shouldn’t have to play a waiting game to see if someone they hired will show. I was offered no alternative, no incentive, nothing to make me ever want to try them again. Thankfully my boss was understanding, but avoid this company if you can help it!
