Oreck Vacuum

Mind blown with all of the knowledge the manager Brett has regarding cleaning your floors. With so many types of flooring like hard wood or tile and carpeting. He helped me make the right choice for my home. With free service on my vacuum we will definitely come back.

I stopped in yesterday to see about maintenance for my Oreck vacuum cleaner. Brett could not have been any nicer… he took a quick look at the vacuum, told me it was in great shape, all it really needed was a new $ 7.00 belt but he could replace the roller and put in a new bag for $ 40… very reasonable, especially for me who would get frustrated attempting to do it myself. Additionally, I asked if he had anyway to ship it and he said sure… packed it up for me… charged me the UPS charge and off it went… it could NOT have been any better. He actually told me he wouldn’t even try to see me a new vacuum because mine was in such good shape! I’ll definitely return for any future purchase.

This is actually a nice vacuum repair and sales store. Yes, it’s hard to believe that we could classify a vacuum store as «nice» but I enjoyed my experience there.
They repaired my Dyson from an epic clog (never mind the fact that the entire Dyson marketing business model is based on it’s NON-​CLOGGING technology — yet, this expensive piece of junk clogged so badly it wouldn’t work… but I digress). Even though the store is an Oreck vacuum distributor, they repair all models. Upon entering on a dreary, rainy Friday at 5:30 PM, rather than trying to up-​sell me on a new vacuum and telling me how crappy my Dyson is, he offered me two choices for repair — a full service for more money or just a quick «unclogging» service which is $ 25-​$ 40. I chose the unclogging. I really appreciated that.
I couldn’t help but to notice the very nice, new Oreck and Miele vacuums on display as well. My mind wondered to those after I left the store — and how nice and light they are and how easy it would be to vacuum my cherry hardwood floors with these new gems. Plus my partner may even pick up the vacuum every once and while if he could lift it!
The store called me the very next business day in the morning to tell me my vacuum was ready. I was impressed. I stopped by in the early afternoon with the hope to talk to him about the new vacuums, but he had a few people in there already looking at them. He was giving a very nice demo on all the models and as I waited to pick up my vacuum, I learned a lot. (There were two people working there so I didn’t have to wait for him).
I want to go back to look at those new vacuums and will follow-​up here if I do. I know the prices are fair because I have checked everywhere so far.

My wife and I headed in with a preconceived notion of what to expect from a vacuum salesman. It was somewhere right around used car salesman. We walked in with an Oreck coupon in hand thinking we’d save a few dollars on a high end vacuum that every house needs after sampling the options.
We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly, helpful and not pushy salesman, John, I believe. He talked us through the models that he thought fit our needs and wants best.
The store offers both Oreck and Miele products but we came expecting to buy an Oreck with our coupon. After hearing the Oreck pros and cons we inquired about the Mieles, which we had seen before but the always seemed out of our price range. Long story short, the Miele for us better and had attachments which the Oreck did not and John helped us out by knocking a few bucks off the price.
We have had time to thoroughly test out our new vac and are extremely happy. Way better than a Dyson! Definitely check this place out before buying elsewhere.
