OK, I know«you get what you pay for», so we weren’t expecting much when we booked a room at the Roadway Inn. But I think even the most basic rooms should have had some of the«amenities» we were lacking. Cons: 1. Running hot water would have been nice. Heck, running luke-warm would have been nice. 2. A bathroom door that closed would have been nice. 3. A shower that actually worked would have been nice, rather than one in which the majority of the water continued to come out of the tap. 4. A smoking-free room that didn’t smell of cigarettes would have been nice. 5. A front door with weather stripping would have been nice, rather than one in which there was a finger width opening all along the bottom completely open to the outside. Pros: Free WiFi worked fine, and AC worked fairly well(if a bit loud). If you need a cheap place around Annapolis to crash for the night, the Roadway Inn is doable, but expect less than«not much». To stay here more than one night is something that should be reserved for punishment for non-felony crimes and people training for«Naked and Afraid».
