«Park closed» it’s Sunday Labor Day weekend and at 1230am after 1hour of waiting in traffic we were all turned away and told to leave because the beach was closed «due to capacity». I don’t understand how a public beach could close…
We had company down to visit and swim and it ruined our plans. Very disappointed. Also no pets allowed.

Don’t expect to have a fun filled day with your pet, this state park has a no pet rule. I was extremely disappointed.
