Your Body Needs Massage and Aromatherapy

The staff are so warm and friendly. Donna is an amazing masseuse and wonderful person as well. The aromatherapy blends are the icing on the cake for the massage experience. Rose is always happy to help with custom oil blends as well.

I just got out of a massage with Kate. This was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I suffer with chronic migraines and I left my massage headache-​free (and that’s rare). I decided to add on the chamomile aromatherapy oil to my massage and I definitely think that helped with with my headache. It does cost extra, but it was so worth it.
Something I noticed was that at the end of my massage, I asked if I could add my tip on my credit card and the sweet lady at the front almost acted surprised and said that they don’t expect tips. Word to the wise: ALWAYS tip your massage therapist :) They deserve it!

I went to Your Body Needs for the first time yesterday. Donna was my massage therapist and what impressed me the most about her was that she is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about massage and various techniques. She asked my goals, and spent extra time working on my upper back where most of my tension is. This was the first time I had someone really work and focus on the individual muscles. You can add various aromatherapy oils to your massage oil if you choose. The location is great, by the town center so it’s easy to get to and they get you right in. I highly recommend!

I love everything about this place. I’ve been using them for years at the Crofton location and now in Annapolis. You won’t be disappointed!

I should have posted this review more then a year and a half ago. Rose and her group are the BEST massage and aromatherapy place I have ever been to. When I was 23 I had a freak injury that requires the need for massage therapy frequently. I found Your Body Needs from an Amazon deal a year and a half ago and jumped on the deal. I was so impressed at the professionalism, the way customers are treated and the quality of work I pre paid for five massages before I left my first visit. I have chronic shoulder pain and after I used the five massages with in a month the pain was gone and I had more flexibility in my shoulder and neck area. Every massage is personalized and takes into consideration trouble spots that person may have. Testing a new place is almost like a first date but they make you feel comfortable from when you walk in the door.
They do not just offer massage and aromatherapy but they have their own line of essential oils, lotions and creams. I like many people, I did not know how the essential oils work, not to worry there frequently have free classes available to explain the benefits of different oils and how to use them. I also learned how bad some of the store bought soaps, lotions and even laundry detergent are for your skin and body and have started to make the change over to more natural items. Don’t worry if you are not into those things no one is pushy or makes you feel bad if you do not want to use the lotions and oils. Crofton was closer to me but I would drive an hour away to come here. Annapolis will be spoiled!

Can’t recommend this group enough. Have been getting worked on by the owner of the shop for years. She’s fantastic and she has a terrific eye for talent with other therapists she hires. I prefer the deep tissue and 70 minute massage personally, finding it the right balance of intensity and time. A lot of choices for any need.
FYI — They were in Crofton but now in Annapolis.

My fiancé booked me for a 50 minute massage with Your Body Needs, and it was a great experience because the area is in a perfect location (new location! it’s located near the shopping center and the mall, but far away enough to avoid large amounts of pedestrians and congestion), good parking availability, my therapist Rose was so sweet and very welcoming and attentive to meet my comfort level and overall my expectations, the waiting area is nicely decorated and rooms are perfectly dim with a hint of natural light. I was able to see the couples massage room and was totally impressed by the layout that I booked a couples massage upon leaving. It was a nice experience as a whole. I can’t wait to return for our couples massage!!!
