This camp ground has everything you’ll need to get a good night’s rest if you are passing through in an RV. No frills is what this brings to mind. The staff are nice enough and the grounds are well kept. This is not the place to stay if you are looking for a fun filled place for your kids to get outdoors and explore. The depth of gravel and large rocks used to cover the grounds makes it difficult to walk around and impossible to ride a bike. The trees are small and do not provide shade. It is located near the highway and close to many restaurants and shopping. Sam’s is near by as well as Publix for groceries. Again I emphasize that it is nice enough to stop at and stay overnight while passing through.

Awesome KOA! Brand new really nice very safe. We are a family of 4 and are traveling to phx with our camper and decided to stop for the night here. Boy are we glad we did. The staff was super friendly and we did not pull in till 1am in the morning. They put a list of all open sites on the office door, pick one set up and pay in the morning if you are pulling in after hours. Beats a road side motel by a mile! Great place!

Stayed here 06÷17÷13. Campground is clean. Bathrooms nice. Very open camp concept. Very few trees. No privacy. The few tent sites they have are right next to the road and bathrooms. So it’s very loud and there’s always light. Traffic noise is horrible at the tent sites. You also can’t park your car at your site if your tent camping.

Brand new KOA so they are still updating all the features. Right now, there is pretty much nothing. No benches, trees or grills. There is a lot around the area and it’s about 40 minutes from Talladega. Bathrooms are nice and new.
