Coop’s Locksmith Service

You would never be able to receive the services Coop’s provides at the average Home Depot or Lowe’s. This is a locksmith, not a key cutter at your Wal-​Mart. Coop’s assists me in all aspects of locksmith service, including occasionally staying open beyond closing time for me when I called and notified I was on my way. Coop’s Locksmith goes above and beyond in customer service. I have gotten valuable advice as an apartment building manager from the staff. Coop’s provides high quality locks, re-​keys existing deadbolts, creates «do not duplicate» keys, repairs broken locks and answers any and all of my questions.
Angela’s review from 2011 could not be more incorrect. The reason Coop’s has existed on Main Street Anoka since the 1950s is the high quality of their service.

So… this place knows how to make keys — big deal. There are a lot of places that can do that. The reasons why you should choose those other places are:
1. the THICK fog of cigarette smoke once you walk into this place is enough to give you instant cancer.
2. The service is … less than average. I felt like a complete idiot when I asked a question about locks — I got a snoody reply as if I should know EVERYTHING there is to know about the topic. It’s not my field, hence the question.
3. I can get keys made cheaper somewhere else.
I live in Anoka and try as much as possible to support local businesses, but this is one place I will not give a second chance!
