Out of the parks in our immediate area, my kids like this one the most. The play structures are updated and the flooring is made up of recycled tires, great for toddlers. If you dig in the sandbox, you’ll find the dinosaur«fossil» lining the bottom. I do wish the sandbox was a lot bigger, it tends to get very crowded in there when there are more than 4 children. There is also a sidewalk that loops around the entire park. I’ve seen parents walk their(older) children to the playground and then go off for a run. I do find I feel safest here in the mornings rather than the afternoons. We’ve encountered some interesting characters our last few afternoon visits. Pot smoking granny, anyone? Birthday parties are held here often and the bathrooms are passable. Bring your own soap! Parking is easy and if you bring your own net, there’s a sand pit where you can play volleyball.
