Antioch Community Park

This review is only for the playground area…
It greatly disturbed me as a mother how undesirable this playground is for young children.
The equipment was covered in spider webs, and greatly worn down, paint peeling, metal swings… for babies?!? You would think safety would be number one when it comes to our children.
The park visually from afar looked appealing from afar… trees, grass, etc, and I’m sure at one time it was… But it could seriously use some TLC!
Couple of strange men wandering around aimlessly and another hunched over in a coat at one of he picnic tables…
Only reason I felt ok to try it with my 1 1.2 year old and 6 ½ yr old was that another mother was here with her two young ones.
After I saw what seemed to be a trail of Juice Box? Red smoothie? …God knows what… blood?!? (Did someone seriously hurt themselves here recently?) I told my kids we had to go.
It was ALL over the kids play structure. My daughter slid right into it on the slide.
I am disgusted and saddened at this park!
