Antioch Smog Check Test Only Center – STAR CERTIFIED

Unacceptable. I printed the 30 dollar voucher for the smock check. I arrive at the location at 11am Saturday May 14^th and I notice it is not open when it says online open time was 10am. I ask the gas station attendant at Gas Of America if they will be open today and she proceeds to tell me she doesn’t know ANYTHING about the people or the company that are providing the smog check service. I find this absurd. Do not go here or use the promotion for 30 dollars as it seems to be a sham and a waste of money. SMH

In and out really quick. Workers were polite. Will def come back for any other smog checks

This place is great. I took 3 of my vehicles to this location this year alone and they all pass smog. Diego accepted/​honored all my discounted coupons each time I came in, $ 26.76 + $ 8 dollar certificate. no questions ask. Very pleased with the quickness and responsiveness. No more than 20min, you are done!!!

Diego is pretty much on point. His goal is to test your car for smog. Nothing less.
If you’re looking for a smog shop with sparkling floors and a hot tub, this isn’t it. If you want reliable and quick service, Diego will be more than happy to.

5 straight years I’ve been getting my smog checks here and never had any problems, in and out of here in 20 mins.

Came here the other day for a Smog, only had to wait a few minutes for the previous customer to pull her car out. I decided to stand near the gas pumps to stay out of the sun, when the owner Diego told me I could come sit in the chair which was also out of the sun, which I thought was rather nice of him. I gave him my coupon for $ 26.75 + 8.25, which was actually cheaper than the last time I had come here 2 years ago. Diego and I chatted while he ran my smog test. I was in/​out in about 20 minutes, which was great. They don’t accept credit cards, but for the price, I don’t have a problem.

Took my car for a smog check, guy angrily asked for my paperwork. Did not say hi or anything. Performed the smog check and used up a quarter tank of my gas to complete the test!!! I took the coupon that is posted on the Internet for $ 29.95 and to my surprise it was still around $ 48.00. Never taking my car here ever again!!! I rather spend A few extra dollars than be treated like crap. Oh yeah and they don’t know how to drive stick shift, they ride your clutch everytime!!! I was more afraid that they were going to burn my clutch! Seriously awful place to take your car to get your smog. Total cost to get smoggy here…$ 48.00 + a quarter tank $ 25.00 = $ 73.00. Not worth it!!! With their terrible customer service I am really surprised that they are still in business!!! Never again!!!

Highly recommend this place. Ruby is a sweetheart!!! I called to see how late they were open, she said 5pm. But if I was gonna be a little late to call and they would wait for me. She knows how horrible traffic on Hwy 4 is with all the construction. FANTASTIC customer service. Fast service. Took apx 15 min per vehicle. They also have a coupon on their website you can print out. I will be coming here every time I have to smog my truck.

I was charged $ 45 for my 95 civic. After waiting 1 hour for him (he was late to work) he still didn’t grant me the $ 10 off and was advise that it would had been more expensive if I bought the $ 30 deal… But I passed. You get what you pay for. I want my certificate not be best friends with the guy. $ 45 to what I could had paid $ 65 somewhere else…

In this review I will assume every business gets 4 stars and if they do poorly I minus stars, if they do good I add stars.
My daughter and I both needed our cars smogged. DMV directed me to a Smog Check Only place and this one had a coupon online for $ 29.99.
The ad and coupon stated the hours are M-​F 8am-​6pm. We arrived at 8:45am on a Friday. The smog check station door was closed so I asked at the gas station. «Where do I go to get the smog check?» The attendant said, «he doesn’t come in until 9:30». I said, «it says it opens at 8am online.» He said, «Talk to him about it.» (4−1=3 stars)
At 9:45 Mr Grumpy arrived. He squeezed past my car to open the garage door. He never spoke, looked at us, or acknowledged us in any way. (3−1=2 stars)
6 – 8 minutes later he walked over and held out his hand for the paperwork. I handed him the DMV notice and the coupon I had printed online. I stated that I also had $ 10 off from Unilocal. «No, only one coupon.» Well at least I found out he could talk! (2−1=1 star)
He came back and handed me a piece of paper. I was reading the paper and didn’t notice him holding the clipboard. My daughter took it and stood there holding it. The three of us just standing there. Finally, being obvious he wanted something I said, «What do we do with this?» «Sign it,» he said, as if it cost him money to speak. (1−1=0 stars)
He seemed to perk up on his people skills after a while because after we’d stood in the doorway in the hot sun watching him run the tests for 35 minutes he mentioned that there were chairs on the other side. (0+1=1 star)
Once he got going and the testing was done there were no problems… other than he should have giving me credit for the $ 10 Unilocal coupon. I can’t recommend this place; but with that said, I did get the test done and it was cheaper than many other places…

These guys were great! Super fast service, and the tech knew what he was doing. He got me in and out in about 20 mins, and he was finishing another person before that. They also had a coupon for 29.95 + 8 bucks for a cert, so it was a awesome deal. I hate having to do smogs, but will for sure bring my other two cars here when their time comes.

I wasted over an hour here. For some reason, thier machine wouldn’t register the results from my 2005 vehicle. I came here to save money via a coupon but that didn’t work out. I left here and went to Firehouse Smog and was in and out 15 minutes.
