pretty hood, dont go by yourself at night time

Stopped in for gas on the way home tonight. The guy working was extremely nice and is the reason I’m finally writing a review for this location.
Located by the Antioch mall it can be a pain getting out (cause of all the people tryin to make the light before the freeway) There were a few homeless people hanging out but that’s Antioch now.
Store: Super clean. Well stocked.

Yesterday at 7p I stopped at the Valero gas station located in Antioch CA, 2101 Somersville. I purchased $ 48 in gas. I printed my receipt and it said $ 4.09/gallon. As I pulled away, the sign on the corner said $ 4.03. I was in a hurry and did not have time to go inside to correct this or notify an employee of the error. I am hoping something can be done to correct this, or at least bring this to the attention of Corporate so mistakes like this do not happen in the future — costing customers more money. Let’s be honest, it already stings enough to fill our tanks. Unnecessary and incorrect costs are inconvenient and unacceptable.

I don’t care for this place. The gas is not great, and neither are the prices. The worst part is that they allow solicitors to try and sell you products while you’re trying to pump gas. There is nothing worse than being in a hurry, paying $$$$ for gas that is below average in performance, and then having some annoying sales person try to get your attention and your money. Go across the street to Chevron. You will be glad you did.

Antioch Valero is conveniently located a block away from hwy 4, making gasing up and getting onto highway 4 a piece of cake. the surrounding shopping centers are in disarray as many shops have closed.
