Cane Ridge is a very nice park. There are 5 fields there for softball use and a few other for little league and fast pitch. During big tournaments, they can run the concession stand and accommodate some fairly large crowds. The fields are usually in good condition. You’re looking at 300 foot fences and you don’t get many cheap home runs. They do run several tournaments here on the weekends throughout the year. It’s a good spot because of the quality of the fields and it has a good amount of parking. Getting to the park can be a bit difficult at times. It’s very dark at the entrance if you’re trying to find your way there at night. It also seems to give GPS devices a hard time. When you start getting close, it’s best to ignore the GPS and start looking for the signs posted by the road. I like playing at Cane Ridge. It’s a well maintained park and I can take the back way in by Concord Road and Nolensville to get there from Franklin. However, it’s and easy drive from most parts of Nashville.
