I must be getting old! I walked into here and felt like the old guy! In fact, no one even said hi to me. And the only reason I know this is because every teenage boy that walked in after me got a, «Hey Dude!», «How’s it going?», or «Can I help you?» Yeah they just ignored me the old guy! I was not totally hurt but I really do not know what is going on here but I will figure it out. I have one Wii game and it came with my Wii. I figured I would branch out and pick up a second game or two. I first stopped at Walmart to see if they had any good after Christmas sales but they did not and they also had like only 10 Wii games available. I did notice that the prices for a few of the Wii games were $ 19.99 but what was upsetting me is that the same games brand new at Walmart were only $ 20.00. This lead me to believe that Game Stop has no idea how to fairly price a used video game. I would rather buy it new then take a chance that the used game I bought would stop working one me. This location was also very cramped too. Most of the used Wii games were on the floor level and they were stacked in a way where they were really hard to see. In fact, I was on my knee trying to read titles and two employees came out of the back office and the one employee said to me, «Can you please move?» I wanted to say no because he could have clearly walked around me. He was carrying two games in his hand. So I stood up so he could pass. Since there were two employees you would have think one of them would have said, «Hey can we help you find anything old guy?» But no that did not happen. Maybe they do not like customers over 20 here. So I figured I better do some more research about buying games and maybe take my search to the internet for some great prices. As I walked out the store past all of the teenagers and too our car where our family was waiting, my little one asked me, «Daddy how come you did not buy anything was the store bad?» I told her no but did laugh a little. In retrospect, I probably did not belong in here and the employees surely did not make me feel welcome. I felt that it was best not to spend my money here and moved on. So unfortunately we are spending our break with only one Wii game… hopefully by the New Year we will have one or two more games but I am sure we will not be buying it at Game Stop!
