Holy Angels Books and Religous

Great store with all kinds of wonderful books, paintings, crucifixes, angel statues, etc. She is a very sweet person and knowledgeable about all that she is selling. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My family had a very bad experience here today. My 5 year old son is enrolled in Calvary Christian School and one of the requirements is a KJV King James Version of the Bible.
We searched on google and this business was the closest to our house, so we drove on over to get him a new Bible.
It all went down hill quickly shortly after we stepped into the business and starting talking to whom we believed was a nice old lady with gray hair. Remember, my son 5 years old, enrolled in a Christian school and is required to have a King James Version of the Bible.
She begins to lecture us that the King James Version is not a true Bible and is no good because it’s missing chapters in the Bible and there for is not a true Bible.
Then she asks my wife, why would he would a copy of the King James Version of the Bible because she believed that my wife was a Catholic.
Because my wife was Filipino, the owner instantly stereotyped my wife as Catholic and belittled the Catholic Religion explaining that it was worse then other religions. She again lectured us on her belief that the King James Version of the Bible is not a true Bible and therefor would not carry them.
Furthermore, she said that Catholics do not believe in Jesus Christ or God.
We came into her store to buy a Bible. She could have easily sold us the Bible we wanted or politely told us that it’s not a book that you carry so that we can leave your shop with good vibes and try to find one some other place. We did not come to your store to get into a Religious debate and heated argument. We are good people. Honest people and feel that it’s certainly not good business to take such a defensive posture with customers that are there to spend money. Even though you run a religious store, I don’t believe you should force your Religious view on your patrons.
I really was not pleased when she insisted that we did not believe in Jesus Christ or God. How does she know out hearts and what we do or don’t believe in. Do you think Jesus would take the same approach and upset people, or would he be more tactful, more loving and caring and plant the seeds of goodness in that persons mind so that when they time is right, they will come around.
There is no doubt in my mind Jesus would not belittle another person, so what gives this woman the right to belittle my family?
I never leave reviews, but that had to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
This was the first time we ever had to walk out on someone to.
Honestly this was the last thing I was expecting when walking into a Religious book store. Specially when you see and nice kind old woman line her running the shop. Looks can be deceiving. I would avoid this store and find another store to purchase your Bibles and other Religious items at.

This place has EVERYTHING. The owner is very sweet and knows her stuff. They have books galore, statues, jewelry, cards… too much to go on.

Very nice staff with everything you need. Lots of books, Catholic Bibles, statues, jewlery, gifts. everything that you need can be found here!
Staff was more than kind answering my questions and helping me. I even found the perfect visor clip for my husband to put in his truck. He was so excited to get it because it is the Patron Saint for Firefighters!
No more online shopping… Yaaay!!!
