What has happened to this store? It used to be a great store with lots of new stuff and great selection! Come in today and aside from a Hello customer service is non existent! Selection of papers and albums is woefully lacking! Nothing new and shelves very bare! Glad it is still in business but I will not be going back!

I am a scrapbook store junkie. I love stores that carry lots of stuff. What I like about this store is its close to my home, they make an effort to carry new paper frequently, nice crop area, well lit and very tidy store. Its difficult to stay open in this economy and this store is making an effort to sell what customers are buying. I for one am soooo happy that they are finally carrying some Tim Holtz product. Kyle the owner is always pleasant and has the greatest pesonality, even my husband got a kick out of him. I would have given another star if the classes were more diverse. I like classes using canvas, frames. 3D projects, altered stuff etc etc most classes right now are consistent in layouts, cards that are great for beginners not advanced level.

This store is so cute and very well organized! I found this place on Unilocal and decided to go all the way to Antioch to check it out. Wow! They are very well organized and have a huge selection on paper. Wish they had a bigger selection on stickers but I still found what I was looking for. I will be going back soon!

I know its strange a guy is reviewing the store, but as I’ve occasional done some scrapping with my lady, I’m doing it! I like this store in some ways, but get frustrated in others. Very friendly staff, well lit and clean store. The biggest negative is that some of the prices are bit high, and only certain product lines are carried. I hate going to big box stores for stuff, but for some things I have too. This store seems to push older technology, and not the newer products like the cricut. I also miss my three ring binder books, I hate the post bound scrabooks. Bringthem back!

So, this is my very first review on Unilocal… and I thought I would give my 2 cents on Scrapbook Time. I think that it’s a really nice and clean kept shop. I think that it gears itself to the beginner or ‘recreational’ scrapbooker. I would consider myself more of an advanced scrapbooker, being on a number of manufacturing design teams… and this store, for me, is not worth the trip. I guess it’s not so much what they carry that doesn’t do it for me… it’s the prices. Being active in the industry I know what typical retail prices are … and Scrapbook Time is always .50 to .75 cents more. For example, I made my way out to them for some Glimmer Mist expecting to pay the retail price of 6.99… they priced it at 7.65(I think, something around that) As an avid scrapbooker and as someone who has a room devoted to it(I spend A LOT of $$$) it feels like I am being nickel and dimed. I know it’s only .65 cents… but as a customer, in this economy, it matters. Had they priced it at what it should have been priced at, 6.99, I would have bought a couple… I come from San Diego where there is a number of stores. They are successful because they keep competitive prices and they don’t carry what Michaels does. Just my thoughts… still think it’s a decent store for beginners and I hope they stay around to help others get into the best hobby ever, scrapbooking!

I just completed the scrap hop to 20 scrap stores in the bay area and can honestly say that Antioch’s «It’s Scrapbook Time» is one of the best! The shop and employees are welcoming, bright and cheery. I love going into the shop and finding new paper almost every two weeks, talking with the owners about the new classes and any new things going on in the shop. They are extremely helpful and have great ideas. I just bought a kit done by Kyle for Disney’s Jungle Ride and loved it! I do pretty intricate designs myself without kits but loved this one and learned even more by putting it together. It was worth the price! The free crop nights every other Friday night is awesome! Check out their website for details.(Just call ahead to get on the list.) I come all the way from Vallejo to go to this shop so you should know ITISGREAT!

This is a great scrapbook store, very clean and organized and they’re always getting new stuff in. The people that work there are very helpful and polite. I’ve never taken any of their classes so I can’t comment on that. It’s a little pricey, but all scrapbook supplies are.

There are only 2 scrapbook stores in the far east bay area. This one, and one in Brentwood which I vsisited over a year ago and hated. Sales people not friendly, did ot ONCE ask if I needed help. I love It’s Scrapbook Time! TONS of cute paper and stickers. Their tool wall is lacking a bit, I had to go back a few times to try and find a decorative blade for my trimmer. They offer lots of fun classes at what I would assume is a competitive rate as other scrapbook stores. The sales staff is friendly all though not extremely knowledgeable about their own products. My mother in law went in looking for some paper that we had previously bought. She didn’t have a scrap of it, but I gave her the names that were on the paper, ie. the design number and the name of the paper. She asked the sales person where this paper was located and she had no clue. I have been in their a few times with questions and had the same woman help me, I got the feeling that she was confused. 4 stars for this store. Lots of paper and stickers(other embellishment I’d probably give it 3 stars), some ribbon. Nice area with tables and chairs to work on in the back.

When I’m not running, training, cooking, cleaning, working or carting my kids to karate/horseback riding lessons — I’m scrapbooking. I’m not your average scrapbooker. When we were house hunting, my two pre-requisites were a large kitchen and a large space for scrapbooking. My work has been published and I’m a member of various on-line scrapping communities. I generally order on-line but sometimes, I want to see the products up close and personal before I purchase them. Being new to the east, easty bay — I ventured out on President’s day to try and locate a few tokens for a secret scrapping sister of mine. The small store in Brentwood was closed. I headed over to Antioch. As I walked through the door Kyle(who own’s the store with his wife) was handing a little girl some stickers. She wasn’t quite happy with what he first offered her — so he asked her what she liked and dug around until he found something that made her smile. That made me smile. I was really pleased with the selection — the store is layed out nicely too. Tons of Bazzil, all the high-end manufacturers as well as some run of the mill favorites. I found exactly what I was looking for and picked up a few new little goodies I hadn’t heard about yet. The cropping space looks very nice and the classes on the schedule look great. As soon as I get some free time *sigh* I’d love to attend a few. It’s a little slice of scrapbook heaven.
