Had lunch here today starting with saganaki. Excellent appetizer then the soul of the day taco cream sounds odd but delicious. My friend and I both ordered steak sandwiches ribeye on a toasted baguette. The steak was delicious As were the hand cut fries. Will be back. Good food and service

Pete, the new owner is a very nice person as is his general manager, cordial and friendly! Menu offers anything and pricing to us anyway seems wonderful. Good wine list etc. Honestly I love the place and typically order the same old thing — a filet and lobster they offer — for the money it’s a good sized lobster tail and a ny strip full sized and for $ 28 you cannot go wrong. Love their appetizers as well. We probably go here at least once a month we like it that much and again, for the money, it seems very worthy!

Great place! Pete, the new owner is such a gracious host. Couldn’t ask for a better dining experience. The wait staff and Jenny at the bar are stellar. Johnny’s Chop House is my new favorite place to go! I would highly recommend to anyone

I don’t have time to write a review that truly describes Johnny’s because I’d be writing for days but let’s just say that it is absolutely incredible. The steak and lobster special is perhaps the greatest menu option for the price and value. I am a big man and often need a good amount of food to fill me up but with the $ 28 special, you get a 10 oz NY strip and 10 oz lobster tail with a side and it fills me up more than any meal I could have. It’s a tad pricey for an everyday option but it’s a great treat. Pete and(who I think is Johnny) are ALWAYS there to greet and thank every single customer that walks through the doors. Very personable customer service and the servers are always very professional, friendly and prompt. With a wonderful and elegant atmosphere, this is a go-to for us for a nice little Thursday date night. I have never had a bad experience with Johnny’s before and I encourage absolutely everyone and everything(yes. bring your dog) to try the menu here. Everything from burgers, to lamb, to lobster, to scallops and muscles — it all deserves five stars and beyond. To sum this up. Johnny’s is nothing less than perfect.

Pete the owner has made this dinner establishment the bomb, better meats than any I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommended for sure. A must go.

Great as ever! Never disappoints. The calamari is so worth it. Best around. Great atmosphere, food and service.

I was delighted by my experience here! Nice atmosphere with some Sinatra era music in the background, very classic steakhouse feel, but without the pretense. I highly recommend the scallops with pesto sauce(pescetarian here) but all my carnivorous friends very much enjoyed their prime ribs and assorted animal parts. It’s been a minute since I’ve had such a decadent meal. They also provide delicious and very fresh bread pudding for birthdays and celebrations. The items are priced right and the beer selection is pretty decent!

This was our first time visiting Johnny’s Chophouse and I almost want to be selfish and keep today’s amazing dining experience to ourselves for fear that if the restaurant gets too well known, everything will go down hill. I sincerely hope not. But, here goes… We have had good food at restaurants in the past and we have had some pretty cool wait staff but this place is hands down THE best so far! Excellent food, from the appetizers to the desserts(Note: All foods are fresh and homemade, including the salad dressings) and excellent service(Laura was fantastic), at a good price. The hostess was professional and very personable. The new owner was amazing, as well. We liked it so much we made reservations for their Mother’s Day brunch buffet. They have a brunch every Sunday, too, not just on holidays, as well as Fish Fry every Friday! In summary, we highly recommend Johnny’s Chophouse if you are looking for an all around excellent dining experience, i.e. ambiance, food, drinks, and service. A great place to make memories.

Stopped on a Sunday night and enjoyed my dinner so much I came back on Wednesday and ordered the same entrée. Generous wine pours. Recommend the Mediterranean chicken. Service on Wednesday was less than optimal — another customer and myself waited 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. Regulars seemed to be taken care of before casual customers. Got tired of waiting for my order to be taken, so I called the restaurant from the bar and told them to he bartender needed some help… Finally got waited on…

My family and I had the joy of going to Johnny’s Chop House for a birthday dinner. We had outstanding food and AMAZING service. We all ordered a variety of different food — from salmon to steak and everyone was just blown away. I highly recommend!!!

Johnny’s Chophouse is the best steakhouse in NEIL. Their steaks and lobster are better than Ruth Chris’s for about ½ the price. The staff and new owner have really focused on attention to detail and all around better quality and service. Johnny’s is our favorite place, the prices, atmosphere and quality can’t be beat !!

I can’t say enough about the excellent service we had on December 15, 2015. My mom had passed away and we wanted to find someplace local for the luncheon after the funeral. We talked with the manager, who made everything so easy for us. He recommended their buffet. Everything was perfect. The restaurant is normally closed at the time we were there, so we had the place to ourselves. The price was very reasonable, the food was excellent and the service top notch. I’d definitely recommend it for any large gatherings or even for a week night dinner!

Typically we enjoy Johnny’s and eat there at least once a month. We opted to eat our steak and crab legs elsewhere last night after the rude bartenders did the following: let us know we’d be charged for one extra blue cheese olive for our $ 10+ martini, used her hand to cover the martini shaker to chill the vodka, then got angry and asked us to «drop it» when we asked what we were being charged for each«extra» olive. So you lost the $ 120 tab but we did throw you the 50 cents for the two extra olives. Might want to invest in a proper shaker top so customers aren’t drinking the bar germs off your hands. I know we won’t be ever again.

My favorite steakhouse. Get the petite fliet mignon with the horseradish crust with a sweet potato side. Amazing.

I only end up here because was Monday and David’s bistro was closed. I felt like the description of how my fish was prepared was misleading. Perhaps I should pay more attention to details to help me realized that pan roasted means fried ! Which I don’t eat ! So I have Saganaki for appetizer(which was way too salty,) catfish with tomato and feta cheese toping(must be Greek style), one beer and one seltzer water with tip paid $ 40. I wouldn’t mind paying for it if the dinner was great, but in this case the quality of the food was overpriced. Btw I didn’t eat the fish simply because didn’t taste good. Wishing them the best but they didn’t gain new client. My first and last visit.

I hadn’t been in several years, but I don’t remember it being so bad. I went on a week night, it was moderately busy. I had my wife, 2 kids, my parents, brother, and grandfather. The good was that they seaed us right away, the bad was pretty much everything else. In general the waitress was nice, engaging, and pleasant. But attention to the table was bad, and everything took for ever to come out. I suspect she might of been working to many tables but we could not see in to the other section of the resturant. The food for the most part was room temperature and took well over 90 minutes to hit the table. Several of us had significant issues. I had the ribeye which had little to no flavor and was at room temperature… very dissapointing but edible. We had 3 lasagnas ordered. Also not served hot, also made with a throat gagging amount of sugar in the sauce. My brother and father refused to eat there’s. My wife had white sauce pasta of some type she was content with. My mother had ribs which she said tasted fine but where dry. Not a single meal was served hot, unacceptable. The one bright side they did comp one of the lasagnas on the bill. Bottom line, in years past I don’t recall it being so bad, nor so good that I would return more then every 4 years. Even if the price points where half what they are this would still be a 1 star.

We come here about once a month. Their steaks are very good, always cooked perfectly! Oysters are delicious! Their Greek Lamb Chops are amazing! Last night we came in for a birthday dinner, and were pleasantly surprised to find a steak and lobster special for $ 27.95! Once again, amazing! They served us a bread pudding cake for dessert, surprise, and it was to die for– highly recommend! Our kids really enjoy coming here, they seem to have something for every taste, and you can dress up or down depending on your occasion.

The owners here seem to really care. The service was really excellent and the food quality was great. I had the prime rib and while it was a little more cooked than I’d like the seasoning was nothing short of spectacular. Good place and I’ll come back.

Sorry Johnny’s but I didn’t love it… Based on all the positive reviews maybe you were just having an «off» night. That being said, here are the reasons for my low rating(NOTE: I gave it the 3rd star for décor). * I ordered my 12 oz. top sirloin med rare and it was served a solid medium * The demi-glacé on which the sirloin sat had a canned, preservative flavor and the consistency was too thick * Though the waitress was attentive but overly talkative * The music volume overpowered the room and made conversation difficult
