My mother has had several very significant health problems for several years. Within the last year, we have survived a heart attack, heart surgery and several hospitalizations. Recently, she fell while at home and suffered some neuroligcal issues. When she was to be released from the hospital, we discovered she had lost significant use of her legs and would not be able to return home immediately. We were crushed! Luckily, we found the newly opened Life Care Center of Hickory Woods.
This facility is decorated beautifully and staffed with very friendly and competent folks. After spending time there with the residents and the staff, we are convinced we have made the right choice for my mother’s rehabilitation. We, as the family, are respected, included and welcomed with smiles and grace. This has certainly eased the trauma to both my mother and my family at having to seek a short term facility for her care.
This place is amazing! They even have valet parking!
