I found Hector to be extremely unprofessional! I’ve started service in August and received my first bill in late November. He demanded payment and I told him I would pay him within 30 days. He then informed my tenant who is renting my house that he is canceling service because of «non payment «. Which is a flat out lie! I paid 10 days after receiving my 3 months bill. I find it rude that he would contact my tenant and not me. Unacceptable in every way!

Lopez has been doing a fantastic and consistent job over the past year for our lawn, front and back. Pruning our bushes and trees was included in the service. He keeps the weeds at bay in our rock beds and surrounding walkways, which in turn keeps our HOA at bay. Lopez provides quick texting updates when we need some extra work to be done or the schedule to change.
We just couldn’t keep up with maintenance ourselves due to work, so Lopez’s team has been helpful when we have been so busy. His team works fast and efficiently. They clean up the yard and use my already paid for waste container. My expectations are that Lopez use my yard waste container so that the distribution of the green waste is even amongst all local municipalities. Asking him to remove and carry the waste along with all of his customers waste puts an unneeded burden on him and the location of the dump site receiving that waste. Plus our Son gets to watch one more waste can being picked up in the morning by the Garbage Truck! Awesome!
Lopez provided us with a Winter rate and Summer rate as growth within the yard differs.
All in all, after a year of work, the best service is one you don’t even think about. That’s when you know you have a professional.

A few months back I was tired of doing all my own yard maintenance so I put a few calls out. Lopez Landscaping & Pool Service seemed to win in the end with their inexpensive rate and bi-​weekly service (at my specification). Starting out, Mr. Lopez did a great job! The lawns looked perfect, plants trimmed, everything weeded. The honeymoon period was soon to take a turn though.
As the weeks rolled along, started to notice the weeds getting bigger and bigger, the lawns looking sicker and sicker, not to mention him dumping all of the yard waste in my own trash receptacle (I thought for sure he would take it away)!! I was becoming very unhappy!
THE SOLUTION: Put in synthetic lawn so he really has no reason to come over anymore. I’ll do the plant maintenance on my own. Money saved.
IN SUMMARY: Don’t bother with this guy for yard maintenance at least. Can’t speak for his pool service abilities. Maybe he spends more time on that, at least there’s no weeds to pull.
