First time here with the wife. It’s tucked away by the Barnes and Noble so we always forget it. Quaint is the best word I could use to describe the restaurant. I really liked it. Since we don’t eat here too often the menu was new to us. Some items you can’t find anywhere else. I got the egg spinach cheese crêpe, which I would have tweaked a little more to my liking but it was good. The wife got the Corn Beefed Hash Benedict. The food was good. We’re used to stronger coffee but that was good too. I really liked our server the most about the visit. Roberto was awesome, he was very attentive and engaging, but not too engaging. I’d go back to try some other dishes based on my experience with the service he provided. All in all it was a good alternative to where we usually go and we’ll be back. We also ordered 2 muffins to go… hope they’re bomb!

This review is a little late but this location is my favorite! The locations is convenient to my home and has good seating for large party’s or small parties. I usually come here for lunch and breakfast on several occasions. When you first drive up their is plenty of parking and when you walk in the staff greet you right away. Personally I recommend coming here for breakfast, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day! On this particular day I had ordered the Hickory– smoked crepes and they were delicious. Right balance of cheese, ham and egg. The roasted potatoes were scrumptious and had a good crunch with a nice herb seasoning. My husband had the chicken and waffles and he loved it so much and was unable to finish his whole plate. On the side I did order the lemon poppy seed waffles with the strawberry-rhubarb butter which I couldn’t get enough of! Recommend ordering extra on the side. We have also ordered on different occasions the eggs Benedict, mimosas and plain waffles. All were wonderful and didn’t disappoint. If you live in the area this is a good spot for breakfast!

So the menu in this place has changed considerably in the past couple of years. The large portions are gone and many pasta dishes are gone as well. Replaced with french fare that is smaller portions. With that said it is still very tasty. My wife especially enjoys the salmon salad and I enjoy the chicken pot pie. They have great lunch options with a very good french dip, and chicken cordon bleu. Their sourdough bacon burger is to die for. Service is always great especially one great waiter in Roberto Plazola. FORKIDS: They have great kids options with the usual fare. However I love that the chicken strips are hand breaded and taste fresh. Oh and the kids meal includes a drink. GOODDEAL! Go if you are in the mood for good food just dont expect huge plates and portions. TIP: Join their mimis club. They sometimes send coupons for a free entrée. Then it becomes a steal!

Utterly horrible service! Husband and I were just there for lunch and walked out. We waited over 10 min with no service. No one even came into the section we were at to ask what we wanted to drink. This is the second time we have been to this location that this happened. The last time we sat for almost 20 minutes before walking out. What makes the even worse is that the table next to us was covered in dirty dishes when we were seated an no one came to even clean it up. It was still sitting there dirty when we walked out. It will be a cold day in hell before I go back.

Terrible service. Many staff on but not helping with guests. Good was gross. Dirty dishes all over the table. I ordered a bit and it had hardly any bacon. Manager was not effectively utilizing staff.

Better than I expected. I wasn’t expecting much since this locations reviews weren’t so great. I usually visit the Concord location and by my standards the food at this location wasn’t nearly as good at the one in Concord. It was tasty and satisfying food though. The Corn-Raisin bread was fantastic. I had two orders of it. It tasted sweet and tasty with a small chill. I had a Chicken and ham Reuben sandwich. My sandwich was slightly cold but I like it that way anyways. The sandwich was nicely put together and neat and not sloppy like fast food. The waitress was super nice. I wish I remembered her name because she was a absolute sweat heart. She was nice and informative. I love the atmosphere of these restaurants. I think the one in Concord is much cooler with the balconies. Parking was easy since we stopped by later at night(around 8pm) I’m still disappointed they removed the 5 cheese grilled cheese sandwich. I used to always get that and a side of zucchini(again which they don’t have anymore) They really should bring those things back. The Waiter was nice enough to bring me some more of the raisin-carrot bread on the way out. The sandwich was huge. I also had a tomato basil soup with my sandwich to dip and it was really good. I also had leftovers, in theory a half of sandwich because it had 3 big pieces.(see picture) Overall that experience was pretty good and positive. It was nice, quiet, and relaxing late at night. I will return whenever I’m in the area.

I haven’t been to Mimi’s in a very long time. Talk about a decade most likely for no other reason other than I’m not really all that in to large chain restaurants. I met a friend there for breakfast recently, mainly because she loves their Mimosa’s. Mimosa was good, breakfast was ok. Nothing to write home about. I LOVE their muffins at Mimi’s but i’m not really doing carbs right now, and I forgot my to go container on the table so my daughter couldn’t try the Pumpkin Muffin I ordered for her. Bummer… I would come back for Mimosa’s and because there isn’t a ton of breakfast choices in our immediate area. I definitely wouldn’t sit and wait for a table though.

Our server was polite, attentive, & professional. Food came out warm, fresh, & quickly. Unsure what happened with the table next to us, but it sounded like she didn’t serve them well… And I noticed the girl writing an unhappy review, so as a person who works in customer service– I’m here to write an appreciative review for her services. Management stepped in and addressed the manner to ensure the customers were satisfied(although inconvenienced) in the end. Mimi’s should get more credit than the overall stars indicate.

I came here for lunch with my parents and was underwhelmed by my experience. I ordered the lunch special of half chicken salad sandwich with a cup of corn chowder soup with French fries. The soup came out not only not hot but actually cold. I sent it back and they brought me out a new cup which was hot. The chicken salad sandwich was tasty and had a good amount of add-ins. The fries were nothing to get too excited about either. Service was a little slow for Monday afternoon and the group at the table next to us were extremely loud and talking about their restraining orders, which was a little annoying.

We love eating here after church. I particularly enjoy all the Egg Benedicts. I also love the turkey and Brie sandwich. The muffins are fantastic. Service is always great. One of my favorite places.

Service was great! We ordered and received our food pretty quickly. Our waitress was attentive, refilling our beverages and making sure everything was okay. The food was another matter. My friend ordered the corn chowder and loved it. I ordered the french dip. Someone just slapped a few slices of roast beef between a dried up roll and served it with horse radish on the side. It was very dry and blah. I could only manage to choke down half of it. While I might visit this Mimi’s again, I’m staying away from the french dip.

I’ve been to Mimi’s where I live, never have I experienced what I experienced today, we were sat quickly, our drink order was taken in a reasonable amount of time, we were ready with our food order right away. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we were seated and our orders taken. I would say the place was at 40% seats filled, there was a table to our left, and a table behind us that were seated after us. After 45 minutes, both of the other tables had been served, our food came out about 5 minutes later…50mins after being seated… insane. We left the food untouched as it had been sitting under hot lights for awhile, everything appeared dry and not appetizing. The two people I had brought to the restaurant had never been to a Mimi’s, I boasted about how good it was, then this… shake my head. Get it together Antioch Mimi’s.

Good service but unfortunately this place is pretty sad. Came here on a Saturday night around 7:00PM and there were only four tables. I ordered the food and it became obvious why no one eats here. Enough said.

Great customer service, and clean fast service but food is not good. The standard has dropped. The Caesar salad was soggy not because of the extra dressing but the veg was soaking in water. The fries were cold and oily. We had the calamari and the batter were burnt. I told the waitress and she brought a fresh plate which tasted great. The waitress, Danielle was really great. At the end of the meal, she asked if I wanted to bring a box home and I told her no. And decided to share why I left all that food. She was apologetic and told her manage who in turn took off the cost of the salad. I will not return again for anything except maybe desserts or breakfast but definitely not for dinner. I could hear other customers comments too.

I’ve been to this Mimi’s restaurant before and have always liked their food and service. This review may be a little biased because we ran into a friend that we haven’t seen in almost 12 years — one of the managers of Mimi’s. Tonight, our server Ruth was wonderful. She was friendly and engaged us in conversation instead of just taking our order. Before Ruth even approached our table, another server came up to us and asked us if she can get us some drinks which we really appreciated. I ordered the baked chicken breast which was seasoned and cooked well! I enjoyed it a lot. I also recognized the manager as someone who worked at Carrow’s from the 90’s(I used to go to Carrow’s quite a lot back in the 90’s). I chatted with her and caught up since we haven’t seen each other in 12 years. Such a pleasant surprise. Not only based on seeing my friend, but based on Ruth’s service and the quality and taste of the food I ordered, I will definitely come back to Mimi’s.

I used to hate Mimi’s and hadn’t gone in years, but then my parents drug me out for out here for family dinner. I ordered some chicken dish that came with potatoes and spinach. I was actually impressed with this meal. Everything was a little buttery tasting but still a decent dinner and I quite enjoyed myself. My dad gets regular coupons from this place so that’s a plus. I wouldn’t mind coming over here for a meal another time…

This location of Mimi’s Café has been around for as long as I can remember, but I only started recently considering it as a decent brunch spot. First, I would like to comment on the fact that the interior is adorable. Second, they usually have a short wait during their weekend mornings so they accommodate their guests by serving coffee cake and coffee for free near the entrance. I“ve never had any issues with the service. It’s always been excellent. The first time I ever came to mimi’s café was for my birthday brunch. I ordered one of their grand breakfasts, and their portion sizes do a good job filling you up without making you feel like you had too much. Our waiter was also very kind as to give us complimentary muffins to-go, which were very yummy. The second time I came here was for brunch again, and I ordered an omelette. Again, portion sizes are reasonable and the food is good. I don’t find them any less than 4 stars.

Mimi’s is like a Fancy IHOP. Mimi’s has a more«home-like» atmosphere. Today, for breakfast I had the Eggs Benedict. I thought that the meat and the bread were a bit salty for my tastebuds. The potato side that accompanied the eggs benedict were crispy — which I liked. Maybe I should have stuck with the sweet stuff: French Toast or pancakes. Service is friendly and prompt. It was my mom’s birthday so they gave her a blueberry muffin for free. How sweet! The blueberry muffin does not taste like anything special, but at least this«small gift» brought a big smile. Thanks Mimi.

I’m really not sure what Mimi’s is trying to be. Slightly upscale version of Denny’s or evening Bistro? The menu has changed a lot recently which is confusing the hell out of me. I’ve only had Breakfast here which is ok. — Cinnamon Roll French Toast( ) Comes with 2 Egg’s any style, Fruit bowl and hoice of Meat(Sausage, Bacon, Ham or Corned Beef Hash). Egg’s cooked well and Turkey Sausage was good. The main feature of the meal was incredibly disappointing, it was dry and hard. They sell the Cinnamon Rolls individually so I suspect they use the old leftover ones for the toast and judging by how hard it was I’m guessing it was a few day’s old. — Orange Crème French Toast( ). Also comes with Egg’s Fruit and Meat. By far the winning meal. Toast was soft and great flavor in the Crème filling. I would say it’s an alright place to come for a quick Breakfast as our food was brought to our table in less than 10 minutes but don’t go expecting anything amazing. Mimi’s is another one of those places that serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, trying too much yet not completely succeeding at any.
