Great to finally have a honest, reliable mechanic. The owner Brian fixed an electrical problem for me. He was very quick and professional. And not rediculously expensive like most shops. He will definitely be my go to mechanic if I have any more problems with my car.

My brother and I were in Brentwood test driving a car that we really liked. We noticed a little bit of oil in the engine compartment and thought we should get it checked out by a mechanic before we decided to buy it. We gave Mote’s a call and asked if there was any way we could come in for a last-​minute pre-​purchase inspection. The woman on the phone told us to come right in. It turned out that we were a little further away than we thought (we live in San Francisco and didn’t know where we were going) so we ended up getting to the shop just as Brian, the owner, was heading out for lunch. He asked if we could leave the car for a bit, but we explained that we were on a test drive and that the owner was already a little freaked out that we had run off with his car for so long. Rather than heading off to lunch, Brian just came out in the parking lot and did a quick inspection for us. It wasn’t the full, put-​the-​car-​up-​on-​the-​rack job, but it was exactly what we needed given the circumstances. He gave us great information on the make and model we were looking at, as well as pointing out the good and bad of the car. It gave us the peace of mind we needed to make the purchase and my brother loves his new car. The best part was that after he had provided the service we needed, with no notice, on his lunch break, he paused for a moment, shook our hands, and sent us on our way. No charge. That’s the kind of helpful attitude and professional knowledge that keeps a new customer. Thank you so much Brian!

That heaven for this business!!! I was supposed to leave for a road trip to Nebraska and the day before I’m supposed to leave my alternator light came on! Panic set in! I called around and thanks to Bryan, I was able to get an amazing price, superb service, was in and out the day I was leaving on my roadtrip with ease! So easy, treated great and will definitely be going there for any future repairs to my vehicles. Motes auto repair is the place to go!
