I wish I could give them zero stars. This review is not about how they monopolize the high school senior portraits nor their super expensive prices This review is for the «high resolution» digital copies (jpeg photos) package.
The jpeg photos Prestige Portraits sends you via CD disk are not high resolution at all. The largest photo you can print is an 8×10! I looked again on the website and it does not disclose that the resolution you are purchasing will not print larger than a 8×10 photo. This package is $ 225 mind you!
Our child’s elementary photo company sells high resolution photos where we can print VERY LARGE canvas prints-​and that’s for elementary photos. why wouldn’t graduation photos be a smaller resolution?
I called the 800 number and the first representative was nice and stated the digital photos only print up to 8×10, I blatantly asked if they send lower resolution because they prefer you to order the prints through them and they said-​he said no. He was patient and listened to me and then asked if I wanted to be transferred to the supervisor and I said yes. However, she sounded like she could care less and kept saying she will make sure to let the right people know.
I was not yelling or cursing, but yet felt unimportant to that supervisor who should have been thankful I pointed out something they are legally obligated to disclose.
