I went to this place on a Friday night about 10pm and their service was nothing but disappointment…
It was crowded, and as we entered we waited for someone to seat us, or at least tell us to seat ourselves. No one ever looked at us.
After we sat down we waited at least 10 minutes before anyone took our drink orders, and another 15 minutes before we actually got our drink. Horrible!
I ordered fries and that one order took at least 30 minutes, during which the server never checked upon us a single time.
After a while I asked her if my fries were coming, she heard that but she did not say anything back. After 5 more minutes it finally came. No apology.
Overall, this server did not care about us at all and gave us no attention the entire time. I don’t know if that’s just her or they we’re understaffed, but I know I will never go back to this place again– at least on weekends!
If you want some pleasant and quick service you might want to avoid this place.

$ 1 per wing so seems a little pricey but tasty. Not the best I’ve had but good. The medium sauce was on the mild side. Clean restaurant, fast lunch service and good food.

I’m in the establishment as we speak. Came here for the fighting match with my fella. The ladies were nice but it took about 15 minutes before anyone stopped at our table to take our drink order. Started off with a drink named ‘Sex on the moon’. Supposedly to have moonshine in it, I didnt taste a lick of it. It was nothing more than a mason glass full of juice literally. Order the ‘turtle tropic’ as my second drink and guess what? It tasted EXACTLY like the first drink and it was nothing but fruit juice. I didnt drink anymore of it. My beau didnt enjoy his drinks either. Neither of us was impressed with the food menu, pretty dull selection. Since it was $ 50 for both of us to watch the fight we just stayed, but declined to order anything else. With drinks this bad and a poor food menu, I doubt I return.

Have been here 3 times. awkwardly impersonal and slow service. First time the bartender didnt even look at us, he was chatting with his friends and passing them «cigarettes» across the bar while he would leave to go to the back to drink out of his cup that probably had liquor in it, from the way his eyes looked. Watched as he broke a few health codes. Thankfully a woman came by to take our order. She was great!
back patio is cute, but dont plan on having a conversation. The clubby music (at 5pm) is pretty loud. We asked 3 times if someone could please turn it down (there was no one else on the patio), and nothing.
Food. Well, it made me sick, so that can’t be good. Pretty sure they used cheez wiz on the quesdilla, appetizer came out with meal when we specifically asked for it to come out first.
the karaōke place across the parking lot is worth the little walk over, the people there are so sweet, and its such a surprise when you walk in, not what I was expecting from the outside!

Went here on a Saturday at about 6pm. My wife’s diet coke was nothing but carbonated water so she asked for an unsweet tea instead. The tea was so weak it was just like water. She gave up and just drank it. Food took about 30 minutes to come despite the fact that there was about 5 people in the place. Got a Philly cheesesteak that was a little below average and an average hamburger. Including a 25% off coupon I had, my bill was still $ 20! For sub par food! Service wasn’t terrible but wasn’t good either. This was my first time here and will definitely be my last. Maybe the place is fun for karaōke or something, but based solely on the food, atmosphere, value, and friendliness, two stars is probably generous. There are much better options in the area.

I would like to tell you what I think of the food and drinks… but considering I’ve been sitting at a table for about thirty minutes without anyone approaching me to offer either one, I guess I’ll just settle for I’m leaving and never coming back.

I arrived a little after 4pm for some after work drinks. The service was great. Heather the bartender was awesome. I also had lemon pepper wings and fries. Food was good as well as the drinks.

This is a great place for lunch and a beer. I had the fish and fries and it was great. Definitely a place to stop in for lunch. Great service as well.

This place is a run of the mill bar/​restaurant. Nothing spectacular about it, I’ve never had an outstanding experience but I’ve never had a bad experience… until tonight 5÷19÷2015. Three weeks ago, a girlfriend and I wanted to grab something to eat. It was pretty late and we were starving, so we decided on The Thirsty Turtle. Our wings were pretty good. I decided to take my husband back because I liked them so much. Fast forward to today…
We seated ourselves on the patio and was approached by the manager/​server Steve. We placed our order, 20 wings, an order of onion rings and a side salad. We asked if we could have 4 different flavors, Steve said «Yes». We asked for BBQ, Honey Glaze, Lemon Pepper, and Mild. I jokingly asked if he wanted to write it down… with MUCH attitude he replied «NO, I GOT IT». That should have been my first clue as to how this would go. I also asked for a frozen Margarita and I was informed that the machine wasn’t fully ready and that my Margarita would be half slush/​half liquid. I debated for a second and decided to go with it. What he brought me was a margarita on the rocks. I stated that wasnt what I wanted, and with a snarl he said «I said it was on the rocks» he snatched it off of our table and abruptly walked away. When our wings finally arrived, they were just a pile covered in sauce. There was no seperation, NO INDIVIDUAL FLAVORS, just a pile of wings drowned in sauce, and of course he forgot my husband’s onion rings and my side salad. The rude service, the subpar food, and a general terrible experience all within 30 minutes is the reason we will not be going back. As opposed to even acknowledging (not even asking for an apology for terrible service here) an unacceptable experience, he grabbed my money rang what we did recieve and walked away.

The only reason I will not give this place 5 stars is because of the service. It literally sucks. I’m not sure why you have no table waiting nor any servers that actually check on you. I would be here waiting like 30 minutes for any type of service. The wings though are really great and they are the one and only thing that makes me come back.

This place is one one my favorite places to go to. Always go to get a few drinks, and I’m always satisfied. Until tonight, I had ordered oysters. I was so disappointed with them, they tasted like they were thawed out for more then 12 hours. They had a smell of a full trashcan/​dumpster. So I requested to speak to a manager. He came over and argued with me that he just gotten them shipped in today, and nobody else has complained about them. They made me so sick, I had to vomit. Let’s just say I eat oyster about once a week, and those were one of the worst oyster I ate ever. I won’t be going back, due to the management. Rude as ever, and I don’t need to spend any money on them anymore.

This is just your average, run of the mill, bar/​restaurant. I’ve never had a bad experience and been there three times. I’ve had a burger, wings and pizza and none left me craving them another time, but the location is good for me, food is definitely fresh, it’s always clean and the staff is always attentive. Great amount of TV’s and a pretty versatile menu make it a go-​to spot on Sunday’s!
I’ll definitely be back but hardly see it ever progressing to more stars… and that’s okay with me!

Lame chain feel.

It is a Sunday night; ambience is ideal if you need a place to hang out and meet people. It is karaōke night. … Based on my experience with the food I am giving them at 2. The buffalo wings do not taste like anything… Did they run out of sauce? Service is good, waiters and waitress are really nice. I could not believe they did not have Avion Silver.

Stopped in last Thurs ⁹⁄₄ late while visiting relatives in TN. Great bar very spacious good food aand service. I would visit again.

Just okay. Stopped by on our way to vacation. Friendly service but the food was mediocre at best. The salad is a waste. However, their potato chips are quite yummy.

This place is great! 2^nd time here and have not been disappointed! The pizza is amazing! Which is so surprising for a sports bar. My husband went to culinary school and is pretty picky when it comes to food. The ingredients are high quality and they put so much cheese on the pizzas it’s the way a pizza should be. We just moved here from California and we haven’t been able to find spicy food. We ordered the hot wings and the waitress suggested to get Hot mixed with the mango habanero… So good! We were both sweating! Really enjoy the atmosphere while watching the FIFA soccer game, they have so many Tvs! We will definitely be returning!

Great American food! Would not recommend the cheese sticks because they are too rubbery, but the wings are magnificent.

While in Tennessee for a work trip, some co-​workers and I decided to go out for Happy Hour after a long day. My old manager had been here once before so suggested we give it a try since he had discovered one of his favorite beers there. I do not know the name of it, but it was some orange flavored beer, which to our disappointment we learned they no longer have.
They have great prices for happy hour though… at least compared to San Diego. I was able to get a miller lite on draft for $ 3 or $ 4. Another coworker ordered a strawberry margarita which she said was delicious.
The place is nothing fancy, just your typical hole in the wall bar. They have two different bar counters and some video arcade type games. The staff was also very friendly and the bathrooms were clean enough.
I ordered the chicken nachos which were decent, but a little pricey.

Decided to check out this sports bar on just word of mouth,…I must say I’m impressed. Now to better understand me know that I don’t require much for a spot I can relax and just catch some drinks and the game. Thirsty Turtle has a TV set almost everywhere! So i was able to catch a game on no matter what direction i turned. The chicks in the referee uniforms are not hard on the eyes at all NOT THAT I WAS LOOKING. cause i had my gorgeous fiancé with me!.. lol just saying its nice to have decent people serving your food rather then the creature from the black lagoon with an attitude… just my personal opinion.
Now, the food was decent, i ordered the naked wings mild, and lets just say they were ok at best,…so the Other Place sports bar still has no worries on that end!
1 complaint,.maybe I missed the sign or something but it was after 10pm on a Friday night and there were kids in there. not teenage kids but no older then 10−12yr olds still there… I ‘m putting this on the bar who in my opinion should not have let them in a sports bar but more so on the parents because you know how a sports bar is,.profanity, drinking, and smoking… soooooo hey don’t complain when your child is saying things he/​she shouldn’t say when you have them in an adult atmosphere!
Thirsty Turtle offers Karaōke on one side and TVs, and small game room on the other with a bar equipped to handle any beverage you choose. It will be a stop by every once in a while joint for me.
