Tux Of Class

I was really looking forward to coming here but the whole situation ended up being a complete disaster. I drove 45 min to Antioch to try on prom dresses, and when I arrived at 4:30 the lady at the front desk told me I was next in line for a room. Unfortunately the 3 girls already there decided to try on basically every dress in the store so my sister and I ended up waiting for an hour only to finally be placed in a back room that had been open the entire time at 5:27 (they close at 5:30). I tried on one dress that looked terrible on me and just decided to leave. The lady seemed very apologetic and I completely understand that there were people ahead of me. But the back room was open the entire time and they kept letting tux rentals go ahead of me. Overall, whole experience was just incredibly frustrating.
That being said one of my friends came here, found her perfect dress in one day and loved the customer service. Also, one of the local high schools had their prom that weekend so she said they were busier than usual. If you do come here, try early mornings to beat the high school rush.

My friends and I have been going here since prom, now that we are all pushing 30 this just seams like the right place to go for our weddings. The staff is always amazing and the selection is great!

My now husband wanted to go here because it is a local shop, and he knew of the owner. BIG mistake! about an hour into the reception I noticed that all the men in the wedding party started to smell of BO! The shirts were stinking and I along with many others could smell this. So after spending almost $ 1000.00 on Tux’s my husband goes back to tell the owner what happened, and she says we should have let her know… ummm when should we have done this in the middle of the reception?
so not even a gift card for a nice dinner to say sorry from them, turns out they dont even care. DONT go here, go to mens warehouse, where I should have gone to begin with! horrible customer service.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Fantastic Customer service, this coming from a customer service professional. We went in 10 days before our wedding looking for a tux for me and suit for my bonus son. They got us taken care of quickly. A couple of days later my fiancé went down with our Daughter-​in-​law/​matron of honor to look at dresses. They found the most beautiful red dress for her. Thursday before the wedding, I went in for a trial fit and any final adjustments, the tux fit perfectly. My son’s suit needed a length adjustment which was done overnight.
Following the wedding, we are planning to purchase my new suit from the gals there. Thanks for making our special day great. Much better service from Men’s Warehouse in Antioch where I had ordered my tux originally. Worst service ever, never received the email receipt, when I cancelled they had a difficult time finding my paid in full order. Scary!

They give you ONE DAY to get the tux back BUT they aren’t even open normal hours to compensate for this ridiculous return time, and charge a late fee for each day. She made sure to wait until the middle of day 3 to call and mention the late fees. I called and apologized and was nothing but courteous to her.
I told her I stopped by to drop it off at 9am on Monday but they were closed during NORMAL business hours, that kind of makes it hard for a normal person who works a real job and 30 mins away so I can’t do it on my lunch. they’re only open from10am-5:30pm. Seriously? To me it doesn’t make sense to have those hours with such a ridiculous return timeframe.
She told me that’s not her problem and they will continue to charge until I drop it off. She said we have been in business 30 years with those hours. I should of had someone else drop it off then. I asked if she has some sort of way to drop it off before or after my working hours. She said «No, you need to have someone else drop it off, otherwise the charges will continue… OK? » Have a nice day, and then hung up on me
I don’t care about the outcome, it’s just the way she spoke to me about it and hung up on me. Seriously couldn’t believe it.
I have had better experiences from Men’s Warehouse at my prior events. I would never expect this type of disregard for customer service to come from such a small whole in the wall business that should be happy to earn our business.
Dear Michelle you need to change the name of your business from tux of class. You have NO CLASS for handling this situation so harshly.
This post is just the beggining. I’m in a social media position with over 18,000 connections online, just form the East Bay Area that will hear about this. I need to make sure people know what they’re getting from this place.

Has a sufficient selection of dressed especially all sequined ones. However, the lady that was helping me was very rude and after some time looking just stopped helping me completely. The first time I went into the store I looked and but did not buy anything every time after that she always brought up that I had not purchased from the store and was treated with rudeness. Can’t say all the women working there were not helpful. The younger employees were very accommodating.

Lots of sequin dresses and styles with those risqué cutouts! I love it! Some of the styles they carry border on tacky, but I admire their forward thinking for girls that want to find a prom dress that is unique and will catch all eyes!
Their customer service is beyond comparable. Even on the busiest Saturday morning at the start of the prom-​crunch season, they made sure we had been helped immediately and at the very least were put on a waiting list with our selections set aside while waiting for a fitting room to open up.

Went in yesterday and found my daughter the PERFECT dress for the Grammys. The owner & employee were very pleasant, hopeful & accommodating to our needs. I definitely would refere a friend.

Given that this is such a small place, the selection of prom dresses was quite limited. But that’s not what I’m complaining about. What I, my friends, am complaining about, is the fact that everyone and their mother (literally) was treated with better customer service than me. I know I didn’t have my mother with me, but does that mean I’m not allowed to scope out the dresses before dragging her all the way to Antioch? I wasn’t even greeted when I walked into the store, and it took a few minutes before one of the many women standing around even noticed that I (God forbid) wanted to try something on! I wasted my gas coming here. Thanks for reminding me there’s a reason I keep going back to Trudy’s.

Went here with my daughter for Prom Dress shopping and was pleasantly surprised. Why you ask? Because I had been to another formal dress shop in Concord where «major attitude» was a common factor not to mention big $$$‘s.
At Tux of class we were greeted by two very sweet ladies who made you feel like you had known them for years. They told us that there were also dresses located in the back and to let them know if we had any questions or needed any help. This was very nice compared to what we experienced at the store in Concord where they wouldn’t let you look on your own.
My daughter found two that she liked and had help zipping and such from another super nice woman who made her feel comfotable and not intimidated like the other store.
When paid and left, my daughter was given a hug and told that they enjoyed helping her! It doesn’t get any better than this!

I found this place after doing research for a particular gown I was looking for.
The dress maker is called Faviana. They had the most amazing green and brown mermaid gown that I want to wear next year at a Black Tie event in San Francisco.
Unfortunately, I was a little late in prom season this year and the dress has been discontinued and the only size the dress maker had left in inventory was a size 0. I don’t care how much I work out I will never be a size zero.
The woman helping me here said that they may carry it over into the fall line so I would have to wait. Well, they didn’t carry it over. However, there will be more gowns coming out so I shouldn’t get my heart broken.
My husband, in the mean time, is in a wedding this month and we needed a courtesy fitting. They will measure for free and then we give the measurements to the place where the tux is from.
They are great in here. Really busy at the time we went in, but they were really great.
I am coming back near winter to see the Winter Formal dresses they have out. Maybe I can find something comparable and my husband will also be getting a tux for real from them then also.

I went into tux of class because my friend was telling me about how it is amazing for prom dresses. I thought why not, i show up and the store is gross and beat up from the outside and I think is this the store she was complimenting? I walk in and the owner was nice i guess… and she asks what school I go to and when I tell her she gives me a mean attitude. She was helping me out for a little bit but after a while stopped and left me on my own. The ladies in there smelled like cigarette and would compliment me on every dress I put on whether it looked good or not. I guess with this economy they need the money. Also the dresses were terribly over priced and some of the brands i recognized from seeing them in Macys but double the price.
I felt out of place, they would tell me how the close by schools dressed for the proms like they are better then mine
well good joke i will find a better prom dress somewhere else.
