Love the auto ball load. But could be lit up a little better at night. Largest bucket is $ 20 A little pricey. Guess in paying for the auto load. Turns out to be about 160 balls.

For a cheaper driving range that is not associated with a golf course this place is great. It has gone downhill over time, as things do need some repair — but it is still good. It is still a great practice range.

I started my golf endeavors just the beginning of this year when I took a semi private golf lesson with my dad during my last visit to Hawaii. The PGA licensed instructor was telling me to correct a bunch of things, my head went«OVERLOADOVERLOAD» and I shut down. I literally couldn’t hit the ball over 10 feet. My dad, on the other hand, was a natural. I was left feeling frustrated. Fast forward a few months later. My dad took more semi private lessons, and now he’s good enough to play 9 holes. Me… I haven’t touched a club since. Until today. My dad said, «Come on, try hitting some balls today at the range.» This was the range we went to. This place might look run down and deserted off the main road of the semi-sketchy outskirts of Antioch, but for novices like me, I didn’t care. Grab a basket of balls and hack away without worrying about people watching! And hack away I did! With my dad’s instruction, I was able to watch the ball catch more air than before. I was happy, and I was having fun. Baskets of balls range from a small(about 40) for $ 5. Medium(about 60) for $ 8. Large(about 100) for $ 10. You’ll be seeing me here quite often.
