We love coming here! Great outside seating with live music dancing and the opportunity to run into someone you know even when you are hundreds of miles from home. Don’t expect fast food service unless you get there early – they get very busy. Just enjoy! Go get your own drink at the outside or inside bar if you need to. It’s also fun to see folks ride up on their horses.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday after off-roading. Needed a cold brew and some french fries real quick! At first I thought the waitress was going to be rough, but she lightened up! Turned out to be friendly after all! I ordered a western burger with bacon. Bacon was awesome! The patty was great too! Fries were eh and Im a huge fry guy. Was kind let down. Beer was cold though and the back patio area is nice and cozy and shaded. We’d def come back if we were in the area!

This place is not worth the time. Below average food, neighborhood bar atmosphere and service with attitude. The real disappointment is that this place was recommended for the chicken and it was edible but nothing special.

My in-laws have been here many times and suggested we go there with them this past Friday night. It’s a great place to visit, people watch, enjoy the weather but most of all, enjoy the scenery. Wow! What a great location! Everyone in our party, except for me, had the Chicken Wings and absolutely loved them… they were huge and delicious they said. I had the broasted chicken breast. I wasn’t that impressed with it… kind of found it dry and flavorless. The onion rings were really good, though. They’re doing some improvements to the outside area — with that I hope they’re including more restrooms, because just having a couple of stalls just doesn’t work when it’s crowded. Would definitely return, if we visited Apache Junction again! :-)

Have been here many times over the past 4 years as a snow birds. Service has really gone down hill. On our last visit, there were 6 in our party and they were not that busy inside. They automatically add an 18% tip to party’s of 6 or more. They also add $ 1.00 per person in the evening as a music fee because of the band but nowhere is that stated. Given the poor service, over priced drinks and the add on’s we will not be returning. There are plenty of better more reasonable places to go in the area, their management just does not get it. To bad because the food is very good.

The food here is good but not the service. We waited for 37 minutes after ordering, and when my husband went to check with the server he found the food cooling in the window. Another waitress started to tray up our food when our waitress noticed and ran over. Smart thinking of her to add a tip or she would have been tipless!

unique experience, people ride in on horse back, place was packed on Sunday afternoon, live music, cold beer, and most of the people were over 60, plan to visit again

No music and very boring. More of a snow bird or older person hang out. Female bartender was very rude. Will not go to again.

I came here with friends and wast expecting much due to very bad experiences up the street with The Hitching Post. I was pleasantly surprised with a welcoming environment that had no problem with those folks taking it easy or those that well… came to have a good time. We ate and it was good, we drank some drinks and they were goo, we met people and they were great! Great views, huge patio area and horse/rv parking out back? I’m a city girl so it’s all new to me. With the exception of the place I mentioned earlier this is now one of our stops while we are«bar hopping» on the far east side.

This was our first time trying Filly’s Roadhouse and hopefully will not be our last. Our evening here provided us with a great meal, cold drinks, live band, and a perfect place to watch the sun go down. The place was packed when we arrived and the majority of the seating is outside in the rear of the location. The seating is a bunch of picnic tables with vinyl tablecloths. The band was just starting to warm up. We felt our drink order was taken fairly quickly with the amount of people they were serving. When the food arrived the bar-b-q was great. The sides and meats were perfect tasting. The band was in full swing and everyone was having a great time. We watched the sun set on the Superstition Mountains while enjoying our meal and listening to the music. It wasn’t too long and my wife found herself line dancing. Our stop here provided one of the best total entertaining evenings we have had in some time. This place is perfect for date night or a family event. My one recommendation is don’t be in a hurry if you go here, but then again with all it has going on who would be.

These reviewers are nuts. This place had great food, great ambiance and fantastic service. Our bartender was fantastic, food was delicious and timely. I was a little put off by the three star rating, but it couldn’t be more wrong, glad I didn’t listen to the idiots who obviously mistook Filley’s for Fleming’s.

Great food, great location, great music and dancing and plenty of room to tie up my horse. However, the service, unfortunately, could not be any worse! I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so because if the aforementioned positives but it is a real shame that the service is so bad. I don’t think they even care as they know people(like me) will come regardless. However, what they don’t seem to see is that some will not come back and, really, they could sell three times the alcohol and food if they would just invest in and focus on some decent service.

Absolute shit service OMG! Let’s start with the bar. The guy was complaining about how busy he was and slammed the drinks as he handed them out. As I observed a fellow customer told me this is very common. It gets better… My family showed up with a party of 20 or so and the waitress came out and said they Will not do seperate checks as its to hard to manage. She had a too bad so sad attitude. She also managed to complain to the other tables about us as we observed. Also we waited over an hour for the food. Terrible service. ******don’t ever come here!!! ************** Also if you step away for 1 minute they will throw your food away and say oh i didn’t know. Sorry. Even though there was food left in all. Don’t waste your money or time here!

The employees here have made it obvious the hardships the size of our party is by being extremely rude … Almost 2 hours later people are STILL waiting for their food(these people ended up never getting fed, they closed the kitchen up before feeding and completing all their orders)! A week ago, our family members who lived here their whole lives, made arrangements for our party of 30+… Apparently there was a a miscommunication and the wait staff was frustrated and stressed out. The staff used our party size as an excuse for their slow service, and discussed this with other customers! Unprofessional!!! Other customers were looking at us, annoyed. My family needed this time together, and they certainly could care less about the needs of their customers, ours or others. This place hugely lacked the proper interpersonal business skills and manners necessary to connect with and serve customers. Some of my relatives lost money due to confusing checks, food for walking away from the table to snap pictures of each other, and so on. Where is Chef Ramsey? I’m sure he could make this an excellent episode in Kitchen Nightmares. Never coming back here — jack in the box sounds much better. But I don’t think they really care in winning anyone over. This entire experience is a reflection in poor management, and I actually feel sorry for the wait staff. Little do they know how wonderful that place could be for customers and staff alike if the manager knew how to lead and«manage».

As you can tell by the latest reviews. Service quality have gone down prices have gone up. Someone said they had new owners but I do not know that for sure. Use to be one of my favorites.

Went here on a saturday night and we sat outside. They have big picnic tables that are great for large groups. Music should start at 6 but got going at 6:20. Sam was our waitress and was very friendly and prompt. We liked her a lot. The pricing of food was reasonable. $ 7-$ 9 for sandwiches including fries. Our group ordered, catfish, pork, wings, and burger. Compared to the Dirtwater Restaurant this food is way better. The burger had way better flavor and you can choose from sweet potatoes fries or regular steak fries. Everyone loved their food. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it had little BBQ sauce which I usually dont like, but it had such great flavor that it didn’t need any more. The sweet potato fries were great with the ranch dressing. The atmosphere was great. Awesome views of the superstition springs and saguaro cactus. There is a nice dancing cement slab in front of the band that a lot of people get there boogie on =)! Overall it was great to go there and I would recommend it. I went inside once to use the restroom. It was old dungy western style which was what one should expect. The inside was almost empty as everyone was outside with the band. See pics for more info.

Great little roadhouse. Good food and bands! Great wings. Terrific huge outdoor patio with terrific view of the mountain and great for viewing stars! And plenty of hitches to tie up your horse.
