I love this place! My favorite carne asada in the country! I travel around the country with my job. I look forward to this place all year. They never disappoint. I love los favs!

This is one of my favorite places in Apache Junction!(Although they have restaurants around the east valley, this one is my favorite) One of the best Carne Asada Burritos you will find Senior taco and filibertos will satisfy the crave in a pinch, but Los Favoritos will truly satisfy. (Get the California Carne Asada version for a change up every once in a while)

We only seem to ever eat their shredded beef tacos. I just love them. SInce my review last summer, the quality has been consistent. We are pleased with the frying of the shells as they are always crispy these day. They are making the tacos full and pleasing with plenty of their beef, lettuce and cheese spilling out over the top. I love them this way and it keeps us coming back for more!

Beware of the chubby cashier. She has a passive/aggressive attitude problem and she will deliberately mess up your order every time. She seems to have a problem keeping the sauce stocked, which she knows is annoying when you have to stand there and wait for her to go look for after your order is complete(this happened twice in a row). So today I asked her to look for the red sauce in advance while waiting for order and she spaced that out. So the bimbo gave me green sauce instead, even after asking me if I wanted red sauce. She did it deliberately. I think she hates Gringos and this is her way of taking out her racist hatred on innocent bystanders. The food is good, but this piece of work needs to go!

I went there after reading the Unilocal reviews and because it was only a few minutes away from my families condo! I had the Carnitas and Fish taco one day and a Chorizo breakfast burrito the other day. All were really yummy and the ladies working there were very nice! If you’re in the area it’s worth a try and it’s cheap. They also serve the breakfast burritos all day, a plus!

The carne asada burrito is DELICIOUS! Customer service is hit or miss, but everyone has their off days. Great food!

Normally my experience here is better, coming here a couple times a month, I always order the same thing, however today they completely botched the order. Burrito is loaded with sour cream and I asked for none. Just disappointing, I was really looking forward to it and now won’t be enjoying it.

Price is low, hours are great and the service is always prompt. Large portions for a good price, great variety and very tasty food! I wish their sign was a easier to read, it looks like a hole in the wall but serves high quality food.

It’s OK. I went there for lunch with coworkers. I was a little annoyed that we all ordered similar things and added Sour Cream, however, I was the only one charged for it, after I ran my debit card so I used change to pay. When we sat down to eat, everyone who had not been charged extra had sour cream and I did not. Only non Spanish speaking person… Just saying. In terms of just the food, the meat wasn’t seasoned all that well, and I’ve had better at most Mexican restaurants

I went in knowing what I wanted to order, as I’ve visited Los Favoritos’ other locations several times. It was a bean burrito with potatoes added to it but instead, she rung me up for a breakfast burrito without the eggs. The cashier overcharged me and was very uncourteous about it, saying it was the way they did things at her store. I don’t plan on coming back and would recommend the other location on Ellsworth and Main instead. The building is very shabby too and you can’t even stand or look at the menu without feeling claustrophobic.

Adobado burrito is my go to every time I’m in town. It makes lunch always end with a smile of contentment!

There are other taco shops to eat at in AJ/East Mesa, but none are as affordable or have as much character as Los Favs. The California burrito is cheaper and far superior than at other shops. Chicken tacos as well. Get some green sauce and dig in!

So delicious! I want it everytime I come down to AJ for the weekend. Their food is better than Erikberto’s and Filiberto’s and at a lower price. It doesn’t look like a lot when you drive by it, but believe me you have got to stop into this little hole in the wall. Truly the gem in the Apache Junction mexican food scene.

I’ve never had anything bad to say about this place. Their service is always quick, store always clean, and food always delicious. Definitely prefer Los favoritos over the other«bertos» establishments.

I am a crispy taco snob. These rank right up there in my top 5. It’s a small place, with friendly staff and well worth a visit. ‘Nuf said.

I have upgraded Los Fave’s to 5 stars! I’m SOGLAD I gave them another try! I now go every Saturday morning for a bean and egg burrito and often during the week for a green chile burrito for dinner. Their red salsa is INCREDIBLE! Update on the hamburger reference in my earlier review… I’m told they are nasty:(. But I don’t care, I don’t eat hamburgers anyway! I still want to try to ceviche!
