I will be passing on the service for the UV lights. The fact that I had to request the service technician to look at the humidifier, and the UV lights during the service call, when 72 degrees install the complete system is very unnerving. After the service tech left, I when into my crawl space to confirm the UV lights were actually burnt out, and determined that both UV lights were working, is very disturbing. The fact that you are changing me $ 206 dollars for $ 45 dollars’ worth of parts«my cost» is very concerning. Which means you are changing me $ 161 dollars for 15 minutes worth of work. The humidifier was installed incorrectly, the inspection failed, due to improper installation of duct work. If it weren’t for the fact, I paid in advance for the maintenance, I’d be requesting my money back. This among many things, is why I would never recommend 72 degrees to anyone I know, that is in need of service on their HVAC. Multiple times, I have taken time off of work to be at my home for maintenance of this HVAC system installed by 72 degrees, Only to have the schedule changed at the last minute, is enough for me to say enough is enough. Going forward, I will be with the technician every step of the way, until my maintenance plan is fulfilled. Never use this company!!! Very shady business practices, stating failed components, even though they were working as they should. Took all of 5 minutes to determine the lights were working.

I have never publicly placed a complaint, but after my experience today with 72 Degree Heating and Air Conditioning I feel I MUST! Called yesterday to set up an appointment, had one today from 12 – 2, as of 2:15, no one had arrived. I called at 2:15 and was asked if it was OK if someone came out tomorrow instead… I explained no, that if I had thought they could not come today, I would have scheduled with a different company. She said she would call dispatch and see what she could do and call me right back. No call back, I called again at 3:00, in middle of call was disconnected, called back and they said… once again let me see if I can get someone to call you back. As of right now… have not heard from them. I would highly suggest NOT using this company in any upcoming heating/AC needs you may have.

I called this company for a bid on installing an HVAC system. The quote I received was more than I had budgeted. Part of the process involved an inquiry on their part to see if I might qualify for financing through their lending partner. In the end, I decided not to have the work done as it was not economical. I thanked them for their time and told them I would call them if circumstances changed. A week later, I received a credit card that they had opened in my name. I in no way gave permission for this card to be opened, nor did they inform me that they were opening the account, creating the possibility that this card could have been stolen from my mailbox without my knowledge, or worse, raising the possibility that it is not the only card that has been opened. Regardless of the quality of their work, I am very disappointed in the outcome of my simple request for a bid on a job, an undertaking that should have been risk free. I will not be engaging their services in the future.
