This was really a great store, with an excellent selection of board games.

My family loves to play games. I’m a big supporter of small business and I love this store. Yeah, prices may be cheaper if you buy online but it’s the atmosphere is what makes it appealing. They have lots of tables for game play and the staff is super nice. They also have camps for kids.

I recently purchased the Living Social deal for this store. When I went to the store I found that their prices were much higher than the prices for the same items at the other local game stores. In addition to the strangely high prices there were signs up throughout the store saying that the products were permanently discounted for various percentages, however these permanent discounts did not apply if you had a living social voucher. I understand that living social deals cannot be combined with other discounts, however it seemed apparent to me that they jacked up their prices so that the people who purchased the Living Social vouchers wouldn’t actually save any money and then posted permanent discounts so that they wouldn’t hurt the rest of their customers. I’m not sure if this is even legal and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Please choose to shop at a store that does not engage in such despicable practices.

Definitely the place for those who liked non-​online gaming. The back 2/​3rds of the store is set up with tables with innumerable people, kids and adults, playing a Magic tournament. The day I was there, the store was doing a brisk business handing out the info to those playing at the tables. The front of the store had some cards for various games, jigsaw puzzles for all ages, playing cards, brain teasers, a few board games, trading cards, and sundry character pieces for various games. If you’re a gamer, but not necessarily an on-​line one, this place will likely be for you.
