My older son attended Carolina Kids Academy, which was located in the same center, and we loved it. My younger son attended Learning Tots Academy (Apex) for five years (2 months — 5 y.o.). We have been through a high teacher turnover to begin with, but there was not a day that my son would not have a huge smile on his face and that meant a lot to me. He was upset on the weekends that he was not going to school. They did a ton of projects, learned a lot, made some great friends, and had so much fun every single day. The kids/​teacher ratio was very low compare to other centers and you cannot beat the location — quiet wooded lot away from major roads.

This used to be called Carolina Kids but now it’s Learning Tots Academy. The classrooms are very big but the class sizes are small compared to a lot of the other preschools around the area, so kids get a lot of room to play and aren’t cramped in a noisy, crowded environment. The facility has 3 playgrounds outside, and an inside playground with a ball pit for rainy days.
My son loved his time at Learning Tots, especially the water play days. He was very sad to move onto Kindergarten where they wouldn’t have water play every week. He really misses all his friends and teachers from this preschool.
