Purchased a Groupon to have my two grandsons photographed by Ms. Stafford. Session was scheduled weeks in advance for an outdoor location but it was cold and rainy on the day of the appointment. Ms. Stafford emailed to see if we wanted to reschedule which was the only thing to do obviously. No one would want to drag young children out in a cold rain for photographs. But when we later asked for the new session date she said we had used the value of the Groupon by not giving 48 hours notice to reschedule the first session. Wanted us to pay an additional $ 25. My complaint about this was met with complete silence from Ms. Stafford. She simply will not be courteous enough to even reply. She may be adequate as a photographer but she is terrible at customer service. I would have gladly paid for extra photographs had she done her job but she obviously doesn’t value her customers beyond the price of the Groupon. Buyer beware. If you schedule a session with this person, show up even if there is a blizzard, hurricane or tornado that day. Should make for some great photographs!

I purchased a Groupon for a portrait session with Tania Stafford Photography. Setting up the appointment was easy, just took a quick email and we were all set. The photos were of myself, my husband and my dog; some all together and some of the dog and then just us. I just got the photos back, very week turn around time(less than 5 days) and they are lovely, however my one complaint is that Tania gave no direction on posing which for some people that might not be a bad thing. However, I was looking for her to use her photo expertise and pose us in interesting, cute, exciting poses but that didn’t happen. It was more less us walking through a very beautiful wooded area and just stopping to stand, sit or whatever. I guess I would have like to know her style before going so I could have been prepared for some poses. Or maybe she was just having an off day and didn’t want to work hard, I don’t know. Looking back, maybe I should have been more straightforward and asked if she would recommend some poses and/or pose us. Moral of the story, communication!
