Every review on here so far is completely accurate. This place rocks! Took the wife to Mount Dora for a 3-day birthday weekend so she could grab a few specific pieces but Renninger’s(Flea Market) was a complete dud, and all the dealers advised not to waste our time going to the(overpriced) Antique Mall next door where they actually CHARGE you to shop there(seriously). By Sunday we had given up and decided to try our luck on the way home at Webster Flea on Monday when a Mount Dora local told us about Trader Maes. 2HUGE barns of consignment with lots of unique and interesting pieces. It’s all individual dealers so some are more reasonable than others, but they will call the dealer to negotiate anything over $ 200. My wife got everything she wanted and then some. We filled up the back of my pickup, and had to buy a bigger tarp to cover everything for the ride back to Tampa. DONOT miss this place.

Vendors Beware. I’m a former Trader Mae’s vendor. While Trader Mae’s multi vendor marketplace may provide a happy shopping experience for a retail buyer I’d advise that current or potential vendor beware. Here’s why. 1) Security is non-existent and thefts from unmanned booths is rampant. 2) Management is incapable of accurately tracking vendor sales thus commissions often go unpaid. 3) Management often fails to return vendor telephone calls.

I’m conflicted about writing a review for this place because with only four reviews on here thus far, it’s like a hidden treasure. I’m currently decorating my new home with a shabby chic theme in mind and this place was like heaven for both my budget and the ideas I’ve had in mind. It is literally gigantic, think Adjectives but minus the upscale vibe. However, they are similar to Adjectives in which they are a market with lots of little stalls and rooms that are designated for one artisan/seller. They have two separate buildings, one has a sign that says Pickers Barn but is still brimming with treasures. The other is a larger one that has more room and a few more fans to help lessen the Florida heat. They both seemed to be lacking much air conditioning and I got a little warm while looking around, but I was enjoying myself and the thrill of the hunt so I wasn’t all that bothered. I ended up finding a gorgeous, fairly large candle holder to use as a statement piece on my farmhouse table for $ 15. It looks like something you’d find at Pottery Barn for $ 50. I also found a chandelier that’s perfect for my dining room for a mere $ 120 in the«Picker’s Barn». The sales associate was super friendly and helpful and even had a regular customer she said hello to help up get the chandelier off the display which I thought was sweet. They had a wide variety of items to choose from. They definitely had some junky stuff and a good portion of random items but they had beautiful handmade coasters(4 for $ 20) that looked like something from Anthropologie. I snagged some with a vintage key print but they also had some with old typewriters on them that I loved. They had some really cute handmade signs, some adorable dresses(I will be back to grab one of these!), a nice variety of costume jewelry, gorgeous coffee tables, amazing light fixtures all for affordable prices. They also offer an outdoor section that has plants and caters to your gardening needs which I thought would be a great resource for anyone redoing their backyard. I would recommend throwing on a tank top and some shorts when you visit and also give yourself plenty of time to look, this place is awesome and if you like antiques/shabby chic décor you will absolutely love it! I’m giving them 5 stars despite breaking a sweat or two and being a little bit far from the Downtown area as this place is simply just that good.

What an amazing place! They opened Trader Maes 2 next door and now have over ninety dealers! The prices are so amazing it’s become the hotspot for dealers from Reningers and Adjectives to come and shop. they buy them here and then can make money at their stores. Best selection of shops and décor in Central Florida. There is also a really cool clothing shop there with great hippy clothes!

I love this place! Way better than Rennegers with less crowds and better prices for nice things! And, dont forget to stop and say hi to the donut lady outside!

Great relatively new décor find. The booths are many: clean and neat. Some offer used furniture, antiques and others offer new items mixed in. I was especially happy to see several booths with equestrian items. The people are friendly and very helpful. I spent half an afternoon there and will go back occasionally for fun and picking up interesting items.
