Freddy’s Produce & Meat Market at 22 142 Outer Hwy 18 is a wonderful little market and I am so glad they are here. This location had a previous meat market there that was not good and so it went out of business. Feddy’s is clean and well stocked with meats and other items and they have delicious carnitas available only on the weekend, but just bought some this morning and yum yum. If you are looking for quality meats that are very fresh and produce to go with it this is your place. Owners are very nice and friendly.

The selection of meats and marinades from south of the border looked pretty impressive for a small shop, but I didn’t see a deli menu or deli meats in the case, so I didn’t wind up ordering a sandwich.

Somehow, I landed here instead of Overland a couple weeks ago. Thanks apple maps! Your mistake is my successful find!
I asked a nice lady if she knew where overland was, and she said it was across town. She then asked, «are you looking for a deli?»
That’s where the salivating began…
To begin, the lady herself makes the bread. To close the deal, they do snow cones.
One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. I am not joking.
Pleasant experience, and I left anticipating my sandwich. It did not disappoint.
Too bad they close at six. Try it before then and see for yourself.
