After being told that the riding lawn mower battery(which we bought one year ago) wouldn’t hold a charge and only had a 6-month warranty, I paused, waiting to hear what type of customer service would follow. How much of a discount would be offered for a replacement. Even after the sales person looked up our account on the register to see when we purchased the battery, I assumed he noticed the hundreds of dollars my wife spent on LED lightbulbs a few months ago… nothing. Just another offer to put the dead 1-year-old battery back on the charger. So goodbye Batteries +

I went to Batteries Plus to replace my daughter’s Iphone 6 cracked glass screen. They said they use mfg parts so I thought we were in good hands. Since they fixed the screen, her phone would no longer take updates to the ios and there were oher ‘funky’ things going on. We went to the Apple Store in the Mall of America to find out that we could have paid HALF as much to have it done at the Apple store and that the phone needs to go through a diagnostic check on their Apple system when the screen is changed. Thank goodness, Apple has such great service! They typically do not warranty items that have been tampered by unauthorized places like Batteries Plus. Do NOT use Batteries plus for your Apple products. Go to the Apple Store!

No way I will be back. Very poor customer service. I walked in on 3⁄18 around 6:15 pm needing some 12v bulbs for a project I was working on. I also needed a battery for my wife’s car. I explained to the clerk that I wasn’t sure which bulb was defective and needed a 12v source to test it. I asked the clerk if he could test it for me he curtly said«not really». Well I could see how this was going to go so I thanked him and I left. Now, here is a retailer that sells 12v batteries of all sorts as well as have 12v power supply’s used to testing and charging batteries. He couldn’t take the time to test the bulbs for me. What was wrong? It wasn’t a giant sale? So I went down the road to AutoZone where they gladly tested the bulbs for me; sold me a new one as well as a $ 200 battery for my wife’s Audi. You not only lost a sale but you lost good will which is more important because I will tell everyone that will listen about the cruddy customer service in your Apple Valley store. Send your employees to AutoZone for training.

My car needed a jump this morning, so afterward I went straight to Batteries Plus because I saw they offer free testing. Both gentlemen were very helpful as they checked my battery and found it was fine. When I do need a battery, will definitely come here.
