Love, LOVE this store! Great coupon deals and bargains on lots of in-store merchandise. Customer service has shown time and time again their personal attending to detail and kind assistance! If you’ve shopped other JoAnn stores, you know this Apple Valley location is a gem!

0 stars here as well. I have currently been waiting 30 minutes to get 2 yards of fabric cut & there are 6 people ahead of me. The cutters work at a snails pace and all the old ladies with their piles of fabric are welcome to spend extra time discussing their projects before moving the hell on and letting the next customer in. Total joke. I wish there was another fabric store in the area because this one sucks.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Had to wait hour to have something cut only to have the rudest employee that I have encountered. Not worth it! Will never be back and will tell everyone I can to stay away from this place. Only 3 people cutting and a bunch of employees walking around. This place is a joke!

I will not be shopping this location anymore. I wanted to buy a 50 yard bolt of fabric, but was hoping that they could cut it into a few sections for me. The woman who was helping us said it would be fine, but her co worker said if we wanted it cut, then we would be charged for each section individually, instead of just the whole bolt. And then said we would have to buy the bolt FIRST, and then have them cut it. «But we’re really busy and that would hold up the line.» Meanwhile, there were customers with 7 or 8 different fabrics in their cart waiting to get their fabric cut — how is cutting my one fabric into a few pieces any different than the carts full of a bunch of fabrics? On a separate occasion, I was at the Edina store looking for certain envelopes that they only had two packages left. So the helpful salesperson looked up which locations had additional, and she told me Apple Valley had 10 in stock. So I schlepped all the way to Apple Valley, only to find their shelf empty, figuring the envelopes were somewhere in back. I went to customer service, and explained that I had come all the way from Edina and was told there were 10 envelopes at this location, and if they could grab 6 of them for me. The customer service rep says, «They’re probably in back, so why don’t you come back tomorrow.» Did she not hear that I just schlepped half way across the cities? Then I repeated myself of how far I had come, and if she could please have an associate find them for me. She gave me a blank stare, said nothing, and then into her microphone asked an associate to look in the back for my item. It seems as though customer service is NOT a priority at this store. Looks like I should stick to different craft/fabric stores from now on.
