My Oreck Store

Oreck redeamed themselves as a regional customer service person contacted me and offered a replacement vacuum. We made yet another trip to the store they replaced it with one of the old style vacuums, which was fine since their bagless is really a bad design.
So, I have to give them Kudos for standing behind their products!!!

Yes the HEPA-​rated vacuum cleaners are amazing, but forget that for now. What’s unique is the Oreck Dry Carpet Cleaning system.
You buy a pre-​treatment spray and you buy the powder (made by a carpet manufacturer, not Oreck). You spray an area, then dust with the powder. Then you use a brush (or rent their orbital machine for perfect results) and brush it into the carpet. Continue until the whole carpet is done. Wait 45 min. Vacuum. That’s it!
No liquids, no big cumbersome machines to rent. No waiting for it to dry (wet-​cleaned carpets are still wet, believe me).
The carpet feels super soft and clean, and, since it was never wet, you don’t have to worry about mold and who knows what else growing on the underside of your carpet. (Using steam cleaning machines can actually void many carpet warranties.) If you have allergies, this is the way to go.
Also their cleaning products are fantastic, especially their grout cleaner (yes, really cleans it), and their carpet spot remover.
