Like every woman, I am extremely picky about who does my hair. When I moved into Apple Valley a year and a half ago I tried several different salons and the best customer service and overall atmosphere was Revive. Owners do a lot for the community and support their staff. I see Kim and my hair has never looked or felt better! She always does an amazing job!

The gal who did the mani/pedi was very nice and it was a nice experience but I think my manicure should last longer than 48 hours. But even as I walked out, I looked like I needed a touch up on the polish… it should have been a bit closer to the cuticle. I’ve also never had anyone«yank» on my cuticles with the nippers. Judging from other reviews, I bet it all depends on who you get on whether you get a manicure like mine — I’ll have to post a pic, or one that lasts.

This review pertains to Gretchen Johnson who provides(when she wants) facial services at Revive Salon and Spa. I purchased a Groupon for a Pumpkin-peel facial with microdermabrasion service with Gretchen Johnson. The promotional value expired on 7÷3÷14. On 6÷17÷14 I made my first call to schedule my facial. At that time I was advised that Gretchen had NOAPPOINTMENTS available prior to 7⁄3. I left a message with the receptionist requesting Gretchen to contact me to arrange this service. I did not hear back from her. On 6⁄19 I called and spoke to Gretchen. She advised she was with a client, would check her books and call me back. Again I never heard from her. On 6⁄23 I called and left another message for Gretchen, asking for a call back or confirmation that she would extend the time frame since it was she that had no availability to schedule a service that she sold. Again no call back. On 7⁄3 I called and asked to speak to the manager Lisa. I was told Lisa would be in shortly. Again no call back. Today 7/7, I called and spoke with Lisa who advised Gretchen rents space from her so she(Lisa) doesn’t have any control over what Gretchen does. After making five phone calls to try to get the facial I purchase scheduled, I was forced to contact Groupon, who thankfully stands behind their name. I was offered the choice of them trying to rectify the situation with Gretchen or them refunding my money. Since I have no faith in Gretchen or her services at this point, I requested a refund. I also requested Groupon log my complaint should Gretchen try to offer services through them again. Gretchen…I am sure you’ll be reading this because I will be calling the salon to advise the negative review I have left on you. I would suggest you not sell such a large amount of Groupons if you have no intention of providing the service that was sold. Bad reviews and word of mouth go much further than good. With customer service like this, I doubt you’ll be in business for long!

Let me just say that my hair has never ever looked better and I am in the industry. Kelly Rittenhouse is amazing she knows her stuff and her prices are great. I will never see anyone other then Kelly again. I would also highly recommend Megan Bergstrom. She is also on top of it and is a great person for conversation. Both girls are very honest and sweet. I love my hair! Thanks again

I went to Revive for my first massage… ever! How I made it to 32 without ever having a massage is crazy to me. Anyway, I had an hour long session with Nicole, and it was AMAZING. Seriously, if i could afford it, I would have one every week. Since I was a newbie, I just asked for a standard message with some extra time spent on my shoulders and lower back. Nicole did exactly as I asked. She wasn’t chatty either, which I totally appreciated. The only thing that could’ve been a bit better was she gave me a bit too long to get undressed before she came back in to start the massage.

I was staying at a hotel across the way from Revive Salon and for convenience, I went over to get a walk-in appointment for a manicure and pedicure for an upcoming wedding. The staff was wonderful and their amenities are gorgeous. The manicure and pedicure area is separate from the salon floor. A great place to go with a group or for your own spa day. Alexa not only did a great job with my nails, but she was a lot of fun to chat with. I would love to come back and try out their other services. Thank you to your great staff for helping get me in and out the door, all while making my experience very pleasant!

I had bought a coupon here and I had figured I’d come here to use the coupon, but then that’d be it, I’d find somewhere closer to home for a regular place to go. Angel was so great though, I’ll be going back when my hair needs trimming again in a few months. She took the time to look through pictures with me and talked about what I did with my hair and what I wanted to be able to do with my hair to help me decide how to change it. I never felt pushed or rushed to make a certain decision. And when it came up that I didn’t know how to curl my hair, she insisted on teaching me. Everyone there was friendly and helpful, but Angel is the reason I’ll be making the drive to go back there.
