Very pleasant spot, nice owners, good pizza. They overdo the«funk» but, hey, that’s OK.

I almost don’t want to write a review for this place because I don’t want it to ever change. But if you appreciate amazing pizza in an even more amazing ambience, than eat here. Thank you John, Amber, and Wesley!

After a delicious Italian varietal wine tasting at Fiasco, we *had* to hunt down killer pizza. Thanks, Chef John, for the perfect piece of fire roasted pizza pie. Lovely iris garden as well. Five unconditional stars.

Funky, off-beat pizza place with amazing food and great staff. If you’re not into pizza, the kale salad is off the chain. This place is what Applegate is all about! If you’re in the area and you don’t stop, you goofed up big time.

Great pizza and worth the ride from Grants Pass. Light fluffy crust with a nice crisp shell covered in high quality toppings. Love love love and so happy we over ordered and have leftovers because it makes a good breakfast

Been here a handful of times and every time the Pizza has been great! They cook them in a brick oven and it adds a crunchy crust on the bottom. It really adds to the flavor of it all.

BESTPIZZAPLACEINASHLANDAREA!!! I’ve been here 3 times and it’s worth the drive from Ashland. Husband and wife run the joint, and he’s from Chicago and she does all the gardening in the back. Don’t let the storefront fool you, it’s about the food. Delicious ingredients, affordable, good beers on tap and in the bottle.

I know the definition of good pizza. I’ve Been all over Italy and New York/East Coast so I’ve tried some great pizza in my life so I know great pizza. You guys have one of the top 5 best pizzas i’ve have ever tried. I never knew a little pizza place in Oregon could have such incredible pizza. I can not believe how fresh your pizza was. The tomato sauce really tasted like you guys made it from real tomatoes, and the cheese was amazing. If I had to recommend a pizza place, I would pick Peace of pizza.

This place is super cool, hippie town USA if that’s OK with you. I love it. I work out here, so it’s great for when I’m starving for some pizza, which happens a lot lol. Enough about me… Really tasty pizza, yummy beers. Good vibes, what more do you need? Oh, and you can eat outside too. You won’t be sorry.

What an oasis of peace and pizza! Our friends took us here as part of a wine tour through the Applegate Valley. We arrived slightly before noon and they were still in preparations for the upcoming lunch crowd. But we were able to already sit down in the garden and have some drinks. We also took this time to explore the wonderful garden… Soon we were joined by other patrons and at 12:30 the place was brimming with activity. Our lunch consisted of an assortment of various pizzas as well as the warm kale salad. Especially the latter was a treat and we all loved it. They also have a nice selection of natural fruit sodas, local root beers and local beers and wines, of course. I really had a great time here. It’s not fancy; in fact it’s a very down-to-earth place.

I am giving three stars only for the reason that they have Amazing food … But the customer services is horrible ever time we call they are either to busy to answer the phone or they closed even though their business hours said that they are open. If it was wasn’t for the fact that there is no decent pizza in the applegate area I would NEVER eat their !!! I was on hold for 15 mins and hung up 3 times just to place an order !! Finally after voicing my opinion I got my order placed but they said it should be between 45 – 70 min wait !! I understand that businesses get busy but still try to be kind to your local clients ! But like an idiot the food is so good I will wait and put up with their shit so please keep this mind !! :(

My being from the Chicago area I wanted to know if this was authentic Chicago pizza. I used to help make pizzas at ‘Mel & Pauls’ in Arlington heights, Il. when I was just 14, many many years ago. We used to cut our Pizzas in rectangles not triangles. Had the same crusty crust that Peace of pizza makes. Still, the best way to cut and eat any pizza in my opinion. The owners son drove a 56 ford t-bird and a 56 ford station wagon was used for pizza deliveries. Used to drive down the back roads with the lights off, 80+ and only the moonshine giving light to see. Man, what memories. While, Peace of Pizza must accommodate the local cuisine tastes(pesto, etc.) it is a great pizza. Great crust being cooked in a wood fired oven. Nice to see that someone makes a pizza that is different but is made as it should be.

Good pizza is very hard to find in Southern Oregon. Peace of Pizza is second best to Rosie’s Inferno. Basically, that means it’s totally good. Lots of options. Healthy and not. Good selection of drinks and sandwiches. Cute, quirky space. Friendly staff. Good representation of the Williams-Applegate vibe. Highly recommend!

Holy hot diggity! This pizza is the mega-bomb. When it comes to pizza, which I’ve spent many years making and being around, this is one of the best around. While it’s a trek to get here, it’s totally worth the trip – and a hidden gem of our valley not to be missed. Local, organic, and very progressive pizza. Rustic wood-fired oven built into the wall, and a couple of anarchist cats running the place. Killer delicious sauce and toppings. If you think Kaleidoscope is good… ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha… you probably shouldn’t come here… because you couldn’t handle a REAL pizza, which this is. Be prepared, it is awesome. Make the trek.

When we drove up, we were a little confused because it looks like a house with a realty place in it. But the signs clued us in and we were able to order at the counter. They have a great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, and pizzas. We ordered a non gluten free and a gluten free pizza and then moved into the patio. It is just gorgeous! You can sit under an arbor of hops on picnic tables, or in private area patio tables/and chairs. The gardens are beautiful. Not too long after sitting, we got our pizzas and they were delicious. Careful if you order a jalapeño pizza, they are fresh and really hot. Also, there was live music from some young men on the acoustic guitar. Very mellow and made for a «peaceful» night at Peace of Pizza!

Great atmosphere with beautiful back garden. Enjoyed the gluten free pizza crust and a natural tasting blackberry lemonade. We also ate a fresh and local Cesear Salad. All the pizza is baked in earth oven.

Good local pizza, service is pretty much do-it-yourself, but there’s a nice patio for outdoor dining. It is VERY casual with the owners baby crawling around on the floor and friends hanging out in the kitchen. A true Applegate experience.

We were staying nearby in the Applegate and discovered this fantastic little gem. The owner is from the Chicagoland… need I say more? The restaurant is in a cute little house with a gorgeous backyard space that has additional tables and lovely flowers– for those of you into gardening, this place is heaven. Inside, you order up front and then sit where you want. There are free games on shelves to pass your time should you want. We played Crazy Eights with the kids and had a blast. Then the wood fire oven pizza arrived. WOW. It was phenomenal, all of it: crust, marinara, and toppings. The toppings are fresh from their gardens. Everyone in my family compared it to Chicago pizza and didn’t find out till later the owner’s origins. You can’t fool me! ;) I know my peeps! They offer a huge selection of local microbrews and organic sodas and the staff is extremely low key and friendly. This whole place is very chill. The owners wife slings pizza alongside her hubby making it a nice family place. When we left, my two 6-year olds both enthusiastically said, «that was the best pizza we have ever had in our lives!» My husband and I agree it’s the best in rogue valley, hands down!(No one beats Lou’s in Chicago for me and I’m quite certain the owner understands and doesn’t take offense! :)) This is a great little spot and we highly recommend it. Don’t miss out!
