A very less then mediocre establishment. The service is slow when you order delivery. Every time. I even had a guy once call me back after I ordered to make sure I knew the gluten free policy(which I did) and he told me they were super slow so they could get out early to us(he said 10 minutes). They showed up 35 minutes later. When our sandwiches were delivered, they smelled so bad of cigarette smoke, it was such a turn off. How rude! Lastly, I have to eat gluten free. It’s not a choice. I’ve ordered lots of gf subs from E&G in the past. Today it was awful. Very much smaller than before and much less filling. Ridiculously inconsistent. We won’t be back to this store. They are inconsistent, slow and rude to smoke during delivery.

Ordered a sandwich for delivery and it got here the total was around 8 dollars. The elderly gentleman of a delivery driver tried taking my 20 to get an 11 dollar tip. Didn’t ask if I needed change just started walking away

Seriously dude… the food is phenomenal; I just love it. The problem? They always, always, always screw up my order. Most recent? This past Saturday. Asked for no tomatoes, got tomatoes. A proper order shouldn’t be too much to ask from a sandwich joint. I’m going to jimmy johns from now on. Bigger sandwiches and correct orders!

I’ve been grabbing food from Erbs and Gerb’s for years now and last night I experienced some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. It was around 12:30am and my friends and I decided to grab some sandwiches. When we arrived the pink haired sandwich assembler was immediately surely with us. I ordered a Narmer on white to which she informed me «we’re out of white you can have wheat.» I told her I didn’t want the wheat bread and she copped a huge attitude with me. What sandwich place completely runs out of 1 of 2 kinds of bread? A little while later I decided I was hungry enough to eat soup and when I went up the counter she asked«Um what? Do you want something now?» I think from now on my friends and I will just head to Jimmy Johns.

Oh, Erb’s and Gerb’s. I am definitely an undying fan and I would take a day-old sandwich from here any day over a sub from Jimmy John’s or Subway. As a vegetarian, I have always gone with the Jacob Bluefinger(with no tomato and no mayo). What really makes these sandwiches special for me is the avocado spread. It completes the whole thing! The signature E&G experience also includes your the«guts» of your sandwich, which you get on top of your sandwich. It’s PERFECT to dip in soup should you choose to get that on the side. The people who work here have always been incredibly friendly and sometimes even talkative. I love it! The customer service is really excellent, too. Once I came to Erb’s during a rain storm because I was desperate for my sandwich fix. Unfortunately the credit card machine was out, but the manager made a sandwich for me anyway. I was so touched! There are a lot of friendly faces here and they serve delectable sandwiches. Tip: I advise joining their sub club. You get your first sub FREE right after joining and you get a free one after every ten subs after that.
