fantastic selection. the store looks small, but it is CRAMMED with amazing beads and findings.
items can be expensive, but are high quality.
owners are very helpful and friendly! they will help you if asked or will leave you to your own devices after greeting you

Shopped at Glass Onion for the first time today and I was really impressed. Kind of a bonkers (in a good way) selection for such a small space. I was left to my devices after the gentleman behind the counter asked me if I needed anything, which is how I like to shop.
I found just what I was looking for (and with the selection, how could you not?) and got to avoid the homogenization of bigger craft stores and got something truly unique. Five stars all around!
(Also: They have a spot or two on the parking pad to get into the store and four or five wooden steps up to shop level for my fellow Unilocalers who have mobility concerns. The interior of the store was very navigable.)

Amazing selection of beads… gemstones, glass, resin, wood, African, etc. They have classes. They’ll make things for you. Make your own class. Spend all afternoon here. Beads are expensive though, so watch out.
The only thing that would make this place better for me, is if they labeled the gemstones… you are left guessing for less common stones.
The owner, is a little intense, but what do you expect? She owns a bead shop! My sister loves this place and considers it therapy on bad days…
