My boys and I absolutely LOVE Pizza Ranch. I like that you can taste a variety of Pizza flavors, that you might not normally have tried before. They have a chicken Alfredo pizza that is fabulous. The fried chicken is always juicy. The waffle fries are my youngest son’s favorite. Every time we have been there it has always been clean, the employees are friendly, the food is super hot, and there is a lot of it! Basically if you leave here hungry, it is your own fault. Some of the reviews complain about the christian atmosphere. I, for one, absolutely love that. It is refreshing to know that I can bring my kids to a place that music with profanity isn’t blaring and half naked women serving food aren’t the thing bringing people in. Also, for as low as the ratings are the place sure is PACKED… CONSTANTLY. So they are obviously doing something right. I highly recommend that you get the rewards card the points rack up fast and the amount of money you get off is amazing!

This place is not bad for a buffet. But with that being said, It’s also a Christian church-like place(but is decorated like the Wild West?) that plays religious music and pushes the Christian agenda(but they are not aggressive about it; I do notice it with the music though). It’s even on their mission statement when you walk-in; they don’t hide from it at least. I respect all religions and free speech … But that’s not something I really want where I eat. The religious tone makes me uncomfortable. But if that’s your thing this is your place.

I will not be going back to this pizza ranch location. I went in at 4 on a Friday at the start of dinner because I had my infant and knew it wouldn’t be busy. Not only did they not have there food out at 4 but they didn’t even have salad on the salad bar and only put out a couple of chicken and some potatoes to start. Right when they put out the food people were naturally going up to get food and right away everything was gone. Of these people consisted there actual employees! Now I understand if they get a free meal or something but they should be out of uniform and let actual customers eat first especially since there was limited selection. It seemed like all of there employees working were standing out by the buffet socializing. These employees were being so loud that they woke up my infant and I didn’t even get to finish my meal before they finally brought out the dessert pizza! After I mentioned something to there«manager» he wasn’t even sympathetic and made it seem like it was my fault I didn’t get to eat because I brought my infant! The employees are rude and disrespectful!

The pizza tastes like cheap frozen stuff. They had 5 pizzas out, and within a minute or 2 of people coming up, all were gone except for the BLT one. Getting more out took some time, and the cycle repeated, all gone in minutes. The chicken tasted like they hadn’t changed the grease in awhile. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant. There were 2 dessert pizzas out. One had streudel and frosting on it, the other apple topping that tasted like it was sugar free. Yuck. There is vanilla soft serve and tiny little cups for it. No toppings… just vanilla soft serve. If you’re REALLY into Evangelical Christian music, this is the place for you! My husband and I could hardly hold a conversation because of the volume. The staff looked like someone had just thawed them after a few year in cryogenic deep freeze. Dead eyes… all of them. We tried it out because we’re getting one here in Oshkosh. We WILLNOT be going to any Pizza ranch ever again. $ 10.99 was WAY too much for what they serve. $ 5 would be more like it. The only positive was that they had Mr. Pibb. :)

If you really do need AYCE it will work. I do not want or need it and felt the price was high per person for pizza. Food was ok.

This place shouldn’t be called pizza ranch, the only thing have worth eating is the broasted chicken. For the price of this«buffet» it should have a lot more then just crappy pizza and broasted chicken. They have a million staff members just standing around looking like lost dogs.

Went on a very crowded Saturday Night, and that may have been a big contributor to the poor experience. We arrived, paid, and wandered looking for a place to sit for nearly 10 minutes. Once we found a spot, it was filthy. And it wasn’t just our spot, the whole place was disgusting. Everything we touched was sticky. Food and napkins littered the floor. The pizza was average at best. The chicken wasn’t to my liking, too greasy. I can’t comment on any of the other food in the buffet, because the only evidence of its existence was dirty, empty bins. The staff was clearly overworked, and most had that«1000 yard stare». Bottom line, dirty, average food, awful atmosphere. There are plenty of other restaurants in Appleton to choose from. I won’t be coming back to this one.

Not quite sure why all the high reviews for this place. Sure, it’s a buffet with a lot of pizza, but none of it I found really special. The other food that wasn’t pizza didn’t taste anything special either. If you want pizza, just order an extra large pizza from almost any pizza joint in town. If you want buffet food other than pizza, go to Golden Corral.

The Pizza Ranch in Appleton excels at what they do. Admittedly, the price is a few dollars higher than I’d like, but by going on Tuesday for Kids Eat Free night, or using a coupon, the price becomes reasonable for what you receive. The chicken is easily the best part, which probably contributes to it needing to be refilled often. It is always juicy and has a good flavor. The pizza can be hit-or-miss, but never terrible. It has a fairly nice salad bar with a decent variety of toppings. I also especially appreciate that the location is family-friendly, often playing Christian music or sometimes country music, and the staff is great at asking if their customers need anything. It is a great place to bring a hungry family!

We’ve been here several times. The staff are awesome and provide great service. The food is great and constantly being replaced. In addition to pizza, they also have chicken and sides. The cost is a bit more then the ‘other’ pizza buffet in town, but it’s completely worth it. For a few bucks more you get better pizza, chicken, and an included drink. The salad bar in also much better.

We are always looking for new restaurant options in the outskirts of Appleton and low and behold… it’s a brand new Pizza Ranch! We had never heard of Pizza Ranch before, but decided to give it a try a couple of months after their grand opening(because it looks crazy busy right after opening!) Honestly, we had no idea what to expect other than it was a pizza buffet and let’s be honest… buffet generally means the food is sub-par. We were so pleasantly surprised! We went at 5pm on a Sunday night with 3 adults and 2 kids. Our bill was around $ 30 which is quite frankly an awesome deal to eat out! The staff was pleasant and the building/furnishing were(obviously) new and clean. The pizza was pretty darn good! We all got the buffet deal. They have a pizza buffet, a salad bar, a homestyle(think fried chicken, green beans, mashers) buffet and a dessert buffet. The food was constantly being brought out and nothing seemed to be sitting too long getting gross. They have some amazing specialty pizzas and the thing is… if you want to try some with your buffet, you just let them know and they add it to the buffet AND bring you the first piece! We had a wonderful experience and all left full and happy. GREAT family dining out option for this area!
