I have been coming to this book store for years. I tend to stay away from the larger book stores like Barnes and Nobel or Borders, if I can help it. There are wall to wall books, floor to ceiling, and the ladies that work here know EXACTLY where each book is that you are looking for. They also know every customer by name! They amaze me with their knowledge every time I go there. One of the things I love about The Book Store, is that you can rent new release hard cover books. They keep record of which book you are on(if you are reading a series) And there is a punch card(Rent 12 book and get the 13th rental free). The prices can not be beat… I just bought a brand new book for $ 8 when it is $ 14 brand new at B&N. That is a huge savings when you buy any amount of books. I can’t say anything negative about this store or any of the employees! I love it all!

What a find! I was on my way to dinner and I saw this little unassuming shop in a strip mall. I thought it was going to be a musty used book store with nothing but westerns and romance novels; what a surprise when I walked in. I was greeted warmly by the staff and their selection was huge. I have been reading more nonfiction lately and I was looking for something new. The manager of the store was a great help, she asked me what I had been reading and pointed me in the right direction. The Devil in the White City was her suggestion and she hit the nail on the head. This book is riveting, should be reading right now matter of fact. I’ve lived in a number of big cities and I would put this bookstore in a league with City Lights, Stacey’s, and A Clean Well-Lighted Place for Books. I hope to get a chance to return before leaving town.
