DISGUSTING! I tried the buffet at this restaurant and the food was cold. Almost everything is fried and burnt. Not to mention the selection of food is so small! The food looked sloppy and unappetizing and made my stomach hurt afterwards. Also, the place doesn’t look very hygenic. The floors were dirty, the plates had smudges of grease on them, and their spoons are all piled up in a bucket. They only take cash or check as a form of payment. I would NEVER eat there again and HIGHLY suggest you don’t waste your time or money.

If you’re normal city slickers like us and camping at Mistletoe, don’t go here for dinner. WAY OVER PRICED. Order from the menu instead of getting buffets for the kids. Bring cash or else you’ll have to use the ATM there and be charged a service fee. The «hostess» said it will be a 35 min wait upon arriving even though I could see 4 tables were open. After twenty minutes of sitting and waiting I finally asked about the open tables and we were then seated immediately. Really? My wife, 12 year old daughter, 3 year old daughter, and myself; we all got the buffet and a sprite just to make things simple and quick. The food was ok but not much of a selection (loved the grits and cobbler, but everything else was meh). Guess what the bill was for the four of us. $ 54!!! and that’s WITH the $ 3 discount for not getting crablegs. I didn’t expect the bill to be that much so I pulled out $ 40 from the atm. She told me the bill amount and our jaws hit the floor. So I was hit with a second service fee pulling out more cash. You people suck. And your restaurant sucks. We ate maybe $ 30 worth of food. You should at lease have a children’s buffet price. We spent a total of $ 64 including tip. The tip would have been more if not for the meal being WAY overpriced. My wife had to walk out because she was so furious. Your grits and peach cobbler don’t belong in your crappy establishment. The décor sucks and is dirty, which is fine if your prices weren’t over the top.

Can’t say much about the food, because we had to leave before we ate. While we waited, it was so hot and stuffy, everyone had beads of sweat on their faces. I looked at the thermostat and it read 87 deg! When i mentioned this to the host, she said it was only hot in the waiting are due to the location of the kitchen. When they took us to the dining area, there was no difference in temp. We wanted to stay, because I looked at the food bar and the food looked very good, but the heat was unpleasant. The only issue I saw with the food was the location of the crab legs. It was the last item on the bar, so everyone starts a line at the crab legs and blocks the entire seafood bar. They need a separate station for them. I’m sure this is a technique to get people to wait longer, get full waiting, and eat less (maybe take 3 plates and fill up). If it’s not the case, then they need to move the crab legs. I hope they fix the air conditioner, because I would like to try the food, and if I’m going to pay $ 20 for the seafood buffet, the a/​c is part of the package.

This review is for the Columbia Road Restaurant. We live in the area and decided on something new and different and sure made a mistake. The $ 14.95 per head Seafood buffet (does not include drinks or crab legs) was on the menu. The food was colder than the restaurant. Yelling and screaming in the kitchen was hotter than food as well. Service was ok as it pertains to pouring water and tea. We were very disappointed to say the least and decided we would never go back while sitting at table. To put icing on cake, we went to pay the bill and to our surprise, they do not accept credit or debit cards. Only cash! There was a convenient ATM next to cash register. Go figure. Again, this is for the Columbia Road business and cannot speak for Clarks Hill business.
