Aptos Core Care Chiropractic

Just redeemed a groupon I purchased for Aptos Core Care Chiropractic and I will definitely be going back! Much more affordable than most services and much more encompassing. Their care goes beyond chiropractic to total body health and balancing. Just what I needed! And loooved the detoxifying foot bath! I’ll be back soon– convinced the boyfriend to come in too!

Victoria and Buff are such a wonderful pair. Buff does amazing chiropractic work. I have watched in amazement as my boyfriends shoulder injury has healed and he has gotten full movement with his arm again.

Dr. McCharen is thoughtful and skilled. I first came to see him with a Groupon to take care of some neck pain I’d had for a few months. His treatments were focused, felt good, and were effective. With each visit my neck pain dramatically improved, and after my third visit the neck pain was gone, which is fast for a long-​standing problem. With such effective treatments, Dr. McCharen offers a great value in each visit, and I’ll be returning next time I throw out my neck.
Also, his clinic is beautiful, I was surprised by the elegance when I first entered. As a side note, part of the Groupon package I had included an ionizing foot bath, which seemed weird at first, although relaxing. Dr. McCharen said most people don’t feel the difference with the foot bath, but I am a sensitive person and I did notice it felt like a gentle detox. Apparently it’s great to get the foot bath when you feel a cold coming on, because it can prevent the cold from taking hold. After 3 foot baths I’m sold, and I’m bringing my spouse to try it too.

Dr. McCharen is a great doctor. He’s more than just a chiropractor. He’s interested in your long term well being. When I first went to him it was because I had such bad pain in my low back and hip that I couldn’t sleep at night. He not only helped to alleviate that pain, but he taught me a lot about the do’s and don’ts for my back and knee health. I would send any of my loved ones to him, and in fact I have.
His wife Victoria who does all the administrative work is wonderful as well. She will make you feel right at home with a nice cup of tea and foot bath if you so desire when you arrive for an appointment. These guys are awesome!

I can’t say enough good things about Aptos Core Care. Ive had other chiropractors that just want to adjust you and send you on your way, but not really working on resolving anything long term. Not here, Dr. McCharen makes an effort to help you in a more permanent sense as opposed to the temporary relief of having your back cracked or whatever. Buff has helped me increase flexibility, treat sports related injuries I’ve sustained, and has given me really good advice on injury prevention and overall maintenance that Ive been able to apply to my life.
On top of that, Buff and Victoria really make you feel welcome, and more like a friend than a client or patient while you’re there. This is coming from someone who isn’t really a fan of doctors, I actually like going to my appointments. That’s rare.
